Against introduction of materials for THAAD

The south Korean military authorities and the US forces in south Korea introduced materials for THAAD base in Seongju, North Gyeongsang Province. Residents in Soseong-ri and civil organizations against THAAD blocked the entrance of the vehicles to THAAD base staging a sit-down strike outside a village hall from morning. The police tried to disperse the people and the people staged a sit-down strike arm in arm holding hand post “Go THAAD, come peace” and “Peace in Soseong-ri”. The participants strongly denounced the south Korean military authorities and the US forces in south Korea going against will of the people, shouting the slogans “Withdraw THAAD” and “Stop construction of the base”.
