Dangerous Military Attempt Invites New Escalation of Tension

Recently, the situation on the Korean peninsula and northeast Asia is growing acute owing to the reckless military acts of the U.S.

On August 15, USS “Key West”, the Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine, entered Yokosuka port of Japan.

This nuclear submarine is a strategic strike asset of the U.S. Navy which carries tens of “tomahawk” cruise missiles with the range of 2,500km, “Harpoon” anti-ship missiles etc.

Nuclear submarine of the U.S. Navy made its way into Japan again when the region is yet to be freed from a tight atmosphere caused by the military operation of “Ronald Reagan” USS carrier group at the South China Sea. This shows that the U.S. is intentionally trying to stir up the atmosphere of conflict on the Korean peninsula and the northeast Asia.

Over the past years, regional countries used to show sensitive reaction to the appearance of nuclear submarine, taking it as the trigger for the escalation of tension.

When USS “Nevada”, an Ohio-class nuclear submarine entered Guam in January this year, Chinese experts condemned the U.S., saying that it is a warning signal that the U.S. would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons in case of the Taiwan emergency, and that the U.S. is employing the forward deployment of nuclear submarine as a tool of pressure on China.

When Russia detected a Virginia-class nuclear submarine in the waters near the Kuril Islands in February, it took an immediate and resolute action and drove it out of the waters.

China and Russia keep a high vigilance over the appearance of the U.S. nuclear submarine and take resolute measures. This lies in the fact that the strategic offensive means installed on the U.S. nuclear submarine can pose a potential military threat to any country at any moment and worse still, can be a flash point that can lead to an all-out war.

The current entry of the U.S. nuclear submarine into Yokosuka port of Japan also constitutes a dangerous military move which invites a new escalation of tension in the region of the northeast Asia.

The U.S. forward deployment of nuclear submarine to Japan which is situated in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula would act as a factor of aggravating the regional situation which is already fraught with tension. Hence, it would not escape from due rejection and denunciation of the countries in the region.

Those who play with fire are destined to get burnt to death.

At the ongoing 107th Meeting of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Geneva, issues of extreme racism and racial discrimination in the U.S. are now under serious discussion.

At the meeting, the UN human rights experts unanimously called upon the U.S. administration to take immediate countermeasures for eradicating its deep-seated racism, saying that the racial discrimination in the U.S. is becoming institutional phenomenon and nonwhite people are the most victims of violence and gun-related crimes.

It can be seen as the undisputed assessment of the international society on the ever-worsening human rights situation of the U.S.

More than 20 years have passed since the accession of the U.S. to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination in October 1994. But so far, no further improvement was made in ensuring the human rights of nonwhite people at home.

In recent years alone, shooting incidents against nonwhite people including the murder cases of George Floyd, Patrick Lyoya, Jayland Walker by the white police have taken place one after another, much to the consternation of the world.

Besides, 1 145 innocent black people lost their lives in 2021 due to the excessive violence of the police. The number of the persons killed by the police since 2020 amounts up to 2 563. Thus, it created a new world record beyond imagination which does not go well with its reputation as a “law-governed state”.

Within less than two years since the outbreak of COVID-19, the number of hatred crimes against the Asian-Americans surged to over 11 000 cases from 6 600.

Moreover, nonwhite people and other minority communities of the U.S. society are living in extreme anxiety and fear as the number of all sorts of crimes rooted in racism are annually increasing at an exponential rate.

For a single reason that they differ in race, they are being treated as the targets of violence and excluded from benefits of social services including education and public health. This cannot but be negation of intrinsic dignity of human being and gross violation of human rights.

Being a daily happening under the “Statue of Liberty” of the U.S., the self-proclaimed “model state of human rights”, this is an inevitable outcome caused by the structure of racism based on white supremacy which persists in the U.S. since its birth.

All these facts clearly prove that the U.S. is indeed the barren land of human rights and main culprit of human rights violation where all sorts of incurable social evils including deeply-rooted racism, gun-related crimes and police violence are rife.

ASSPUK BGSJI UK KFA and BSCPRKP support Indignation Statement of AINDF !

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP expressed support for the Indignation Statement of the Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea (AINDF ) ;

On the 18th of August 2022 , the Central Committee of the AINDF issued an 'Indignation Statement ' to the mark the passing of 100 days of rule of Yoon Suk-yeol in south Korea . As the introduction to the statement says " Dependence on foreign forces and sycophancy are rampant to the extremes, danger of war and inter-Korean confrontation rackets reached their height during the hundred days of Yoon's inauguration. It was 2 400 hours during which the dictatorial rule was enforced to purge off democracy and the people's rights, the statement said. The successive south Korean rulers left their sinful footprints, however, there were no anti-popular rulers and special-class criminals such as Yoon who committed great sin during the hundred days of his inauguration,"

Since taking over as ruler of south Korea , Yoon has made south Korea even more dependent on the US and grovelled sychophantily to Biden and the US imperialists. Yoon even participated in a summit of the war mongering pro-US alliance NATO ! Yoon has also kowtowed to Japan and given the green light to Japanese interference on the Korean peninsula .

Yoon has caused massive damage to inter-Korean relations and is threatening peace on the Korean peninsula . Yoon branded the DPRK ' the principal enemy ' . Also large scale military exercises with the US ttargetting the DPRK that were either held in abeyance or scaled down by his predessecor have been revived by Yoon. Yoon also connived and abetted the criminal act of sending Covid 19 into the DPRK by defectors . Yoon plans to establish the "North Korean Human Rights Foundation" which aims to overthrow the socialist system of the DPRK using 'human rights ' as a lever '

As the AINDF statement correctly points out "The situation of the Korean Peninsula is inching close to a nuclear war because of belligerency of Yoon."

Yoon is reviving the fascist dictatorial machinery in south Korea and trying to repress progressives and members of opposition parties . He is creating a despotic fascist state .

Yoon is reducing the living standards of the people and attacking workers rights . Under Yoon the south Korean puppet economy is tottering into stagnation and decline .

Yoon should be overthrown !

We support the Indignation statement of the AINDF and the struggle of the AINDF and south Korean people to remove Yoon from power .

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP issued a joint statement on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the publication of the work " Let Us Usher in a Golden Age of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth Movement"by the dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN;

On the 28th of August six years ago dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN made public the work " Let Us Usher in a Golden Age of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth Movement" which clarified important tasks to be carried out in the field of youth work. Now youth work in People's Korea is surging ahead with revolutionary fervour !

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN put forward the laudable idea of turning the DRPK into a youth power . Essentially the DPRK have always regarded young people and the vanguard and shock brigade of the revolution . Marshal KIM JONG UN Has carried this idea to a new higher level.As youth are one of the three pillars that the Korean revolution , dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has turned his attention to turning the youth league into a militant Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist organisation that will make a pivotal contribution to modelling the whole of society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.As dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN says "If the youth league is to fulfil the sacred mission and duty it has assumed for the times and the revolution, it should model itself on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism." This is indeed very true.

Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN reviewed in the work the past achievements of the youth league which is so rich in history and puts forward key tasks for the youth league ,which has now been renamed the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League to reflect the requirements of the times.

Very correctly dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN puts stress on the education of youth league members to turn them into ardent and loyal Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists.He elaborates in detail about this" They should also step up education of young people in Kim Jong Il's patriotism, revolutionary faith, anti-imperialist and class consciousness, and socialist morality, so that all of them become true patriots with ardent love for their country, hot-blooded fighters with indomitable revolutionary faith and unwavering anti-imperialist and class consciousness, staunch champions of the class struggle and cultured social beings with a high degree of cultural attainments and ennobling moral traits."This constitutes a militant programme for turning the young people into militant revolutionary fighters against imperialism and all class enemies.

In this work respected Marshal KIM JONG UN shows an acute awareness of the moves of the US imperialists and class enemies to corrupt and poison the minds of the youth through ideological and cultural infiltration.This was done in the USSR and Eastern European socialist countries.However thanks to the wisdom and perception of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN this cannot happen in People's Korea.

Thanks to this work and the efforts of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the DPRK has taken on the proud appearance of a youth power .

This work puts the theory of the Juche-orientated revolutionary youth movement on to a new higher level. It should be studied by all!
