Press Statement by Spokesman for NATA of DPRK

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) of the DPRK, released the following press statement "U.S. hegemonic attempt to militarize outer space into war theater is principal threat to global peace and security" on Saturday:

The U.S. has gone beyond the red line in its hegemonic attempt to deprive the independent sovereign states of their rights to space development and militarize outer space and turn such common wealth of humankind into a war theater.

The commander of the U.S. Space Force during his recent visits to puppet ROK and Japan said that he urges north Korea to refrain from launching space projectiles or missiles as such action constitutes a "violation of UN resolution."

We vehemently denounce and reject this, expressing serious concern over such hegemonic attempt of the U.S. as categorically denying the DPRK's just right to space development and legitimate right to self-defence and using outer space as a military means to deter other countries.

The U.S., the biggest spy satellite possessor in the world, has conducted interceptor weapon system tests for destroying foreign artificial satellites more than any others. Worse still, it finds fault with the DPRK over its legitimate right to military reconnaissance satellite launch. Irony is that it brought up for discussion a draft resolution on banning space nuclear weaponry deployment at the UNSC. This is, indeed, preposterous and impudent act based on double standards.

Shortly ago, the U.S. conducted the seventh launch of unmanned space vehicle X-37B with a mission to destroy satellites of an "enemy state" in outer space and staged Global Sentinel, a joint space drill simulating war in outer space, with its vassal countries. This clearly proves who the arch criminal of militarizing outer space is.

The most typical example of extremely dangerous U.S. space militarization is found on the Korean peninsula region.

In April alone, the U.S. offered a space vehicle to the puppet ROK to launch its second spy satellite aimed at securing the capability for a preemptive strike on the DPRK. From April 12 to 26, it conducted with the puppet ROK a joint space operation drill which is aimed at mounting "precision strikes" at military bases of the DPRK on the basis of real-time information collected by the U.S. Space Force through spy satellites.

Due to the U.S. reckless and risky space militarization, the strategic balance may collapse any moment to give rise to actual wars among regional countries in the Asia-Pacific region and such possibility is ever-increasing.

The hegemonic attempt of the U.S. to militarize outer space and turn it into a war theater is a principal threat to global peace and security at present.

Given that the U.S. is bringing its space forces massively to the Korean peninsula and its vicinity to speed up its space militarization whose ultimate goal is preemptive nuclear attack, the space development project, including military satellite launch, is a strategic choice indispensable for guaranteeing our country's security, interests and right to existence.

The National Aerospace Technology Administration of the DPRK will invariably carry on its important duty, as planned, to strictly monitor and grasp the ever-escalating military maneuvers and aggression attempts of the U.S. and other hostile forces in outer space and all other spheres and to enhance the space reconnaissance capabilities for creditably ensuring the national security. -0-

Press Statement by Spokesman for DPRK Foreign Ministry

Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) released the following press statement on Saturday:

The U.S. again malignantly slandered the DPRK through the publication of "Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2023".

The DPRK Foreign Ministry resolutely denounces and rejects the U.S. Department of State's publication of "reports on human rights", full of lies, fabrications, prejudice and hostility, and strongly warns the U.S. to stop its illegal interference in the sovereignty and internal affairs of the DPRK.

The U.S. farce of making "reports on human rights" has nothing to do with ensuring genuine human rights, and it is nothing but basic data necessary for tarnishing the image of other countries incurring its displeasure and for justifying its interference in their internal affairs and scheme to bring down their social systems.

If the U.S. Department of State regards it as its own business which can never be overlooked to make "reports on human rights", it will be reasonable to write a confession frankly admitting the human rights situation in the U.S. before anything else and then to be judged fairly by other countries.

Whenever the U.S. finds fault with other countries with its own "human rights standard", the international community first of all examine the horrible human rights situation of the U.S. widely recognized as the worst in the world.

Even at this moment, it is the U.S. which is fostering massacres of innocent civilians through overseas military aid of tens of billions of U.S. dollars and it is also the U.S. where the serious human rights abuses such as institutional suppression of its people, confrontations between nations, races and religions and all kinds of crimes of violence and maltreatment of immigrants are rampant.

The assertion about the influx of information into the DPRK, recently made by high-ranking officials of the Biden administration including the "envoy for the human rights issue" of the U.S. State Department whenever an opportunity presents itself, is a manifestation of the extremely sinister political plot and a dangerous political provocation to undermine the social system in the DPRK in the long-run.

Now that the U.S. is hell-bent on hostile acts against the DPRK, regarding "human rights" racket as the main means of aggression, together with military threat, the DPRK will have to take into consideration the resolute and decisive option for defending the sovereignty and security of the state in an all-round way.

There is no limit to the DPRK's counteraction for defending its social system, sovereignty and national interests. -0-

Today Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK), issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of comrade Kim Un Chol , vice-minister for U.S. affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) that was issued on the 25th of April ;

Comrade Kim Un Chol made public a press statement on the 25th of April which exposed and denounced the attempts of the US imperialists to prop and up the sanctions against the DPRK which are now falling apart due to the opposition of some countries  and declining US hegemony over the world.

As pointed out by the press statement of comrade Kim Un Chol  it is actually irrelevant whether the US enforces sanctions through the UN Security Council, or by other means including mobilising its puppets and vassals to enforce ,because the DPRK has always lived under sanctions . They are nothing new .Moreover the sanctions of the US and other imperialists actually harden the will and resolve of  the Korean people against the US imperialists .

Any further moves of the US to tighten sanctions against the DPRK will result the DPRK taking more measures to increase its military capacity which the US will not like .

As comrade Kim Un Chol says  "The U.S. can never deprive the DPRK of its self-respect, its strength and its will to counter the U.S. What the DPRK will lose in the confrontation with the U.S. is the chain of sanctions and the nuclear threat and what the former will gain there is its eternal security and prosperity."

We support the resolute anti-imperialist stance of the DPRK to respond to the US sanctions by boosting its military capacity .

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Pays Congratulatory Visit to Kim Il Sung Military University

 

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, paid a congratulatory visit to Kim Il Sung Military University, the highest institute of military education in the DPRK, on April 25, the 92nd founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

All the teaching staff and students of the university were greatly excited and delighted at the highest honor and privilege of meeting the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on their campus on the founding anniversary of the first genuine armed forces of Korea at a time when the powerful and matchless self-defensive capabilities of the revolutionary armed forces, which reliably guarantee the prosperity of the country with arms, are being fully demonstrated to the whole world.

When Kim Jong Un arrived at the university, stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" for the great Supreme Commander, symbol of the mightiness of Juche Korea and ever-victorious banner, were raised, rocking the sky in auspicious April.

He received a salute from the president of the university.

He was presented with bouquets by an educator and a student of the university in reflection of the boundless reverence of the officers and men of the entire army.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers, he warmly encouraged all the teaching staff and students who are faithfully upholding the Party's ideas and cause of building a powerful army at the university which is linked with the precious name and glorious history of our revolutionary armed forces and constitutes the inexhaustible motive force for their heroism and invincibility.

"Thanks to the core role played by competent military personnel, our revolutionary armed forces have followed only the road of victory for over 90 years, and Kim Il Sung Military University has stood in the vanguard of the efforts for achieving those brilliant exploits.

"There is no other military academy or comprehensive military educational and scientific base in the world than this university, founded in the days of a fierce war, has made distinguished contributions to the strengthening of the military capability and to the revolutionary cause, maintaining its traditions and history as the combat ranks most faithful to the Party.

"Numerous military commanders, sturdy 'sons' born of this university, are now defending all fronts and posts firmly in various parts of the country and adding dignity and honour to the exploits of legendary victories performed by the Korean People's Army. This fact alone is enough for praising the name of the university forever.

When the speech was over, all the teaching staff and students paid the highest tribute to the peerlessly illustrious commander who is ushering in a gigantic new heyday in building a prosperous country with a strong army while glorifying the dignity and the history of heroic victory of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK originated in Mt Paektu at the climax of the greatest strength and honor.

Kim Jong Un again extended warm congratulations to the teaching staff and students celebrating the truly significant and glorious anniversary for the WPK, the state and the people with great pride in the sacred history and will of succession.

He went round the revolutionary museum and the room dedicated to the history of the university.

He recollected with deep emotion the immortal historic achievements of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who founded the university during the life-and-death hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War and, through energetic leadership, developed it into a world-class university with the history and prestige of adding an invincible spirit and grandiose fame to the brilliant victorious history of the armed forces of the DPRK and into a centre for training the core backbone of the KPA.

He called on the university, which has shared the intention and pace with the Party single-mindedly in the days of both glory and ordeals, to invariably glorify the history and tradition of loyalty and more creditably train a large number of competent commanding officers who would firmly guarantee the eternal history of an independent and powerful country by force of arms.

After seeing a class at lesson in a lecture room and a seminar at a room for studying educational methods, guided by senior officials of the university, he learned in detail in the combined teaching control room about the updating of education and expressed great satisfaction over the educational achievements made by the university.

Noting that the military educational front is a bulwark and outpost for strengthening the core position of the army of the Party, he said that when the future of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Mt Paektu depends on the mightiness and matchless fighting efficiency of the KPA, the fighting efficiency of the KPA to be steadily developed in conformity with the present era should be guaranteed by high abilities and excellent teaching results of the university teachers.

He set forth important tasks and ways for putting the educational work of the university onto a new high, stressing the need to train all students to be intelligent and brave all-round commanding officers possessed of absolute loyalty to the Party and the revolution and high military qualifications by consistently holding fast to and thoroughly implementing the Party's four-point line on building a powerful army and the Party's policy on putting the military educational contents on an actual fighting, comprehensive and modern basis.

He had a photo session with the teaching staff and students in commemoration of his visit to the university.

All the teaching staff and students extended deep gratitude to the great teacher and benevolent father who clearly indicated the road ahead of the university with his gifted ideological and theoretical wisdom and rare scientific insight and repeatedly showed deep love and trust.

He expressed expectation and belief that the university would, in the future, too, invariably demonstrate the dignity and honor of having guaranteed the eternal prosperity of our revolutionary armed forces with the proud successes of military education and lead a new period of surge in building a powerful army.

When the photo session was over, the participants broke into stormy cheers of "Kim Jong Un" and "Death-defying Defence".

Then Kim Jong Un watched a football match between the teams of Kim Il Sung Military University and Kim Il Sung University of Politics held on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the KPRA.

The stadium was full of joy and optimism of the cheering persons and the players who were to play a match in the presence of the respected Supreme Commander whom they had yearned for so much.

The match ended with the victory of the team of the military university.

That evening the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK hosted a reception in congratulation of the teaching staff of Kim Il Sung Military University greeting the holiday.

Present there on invitation were senior officials of the WPK Central Committee.

Minister of National Defence Kang Sun Nam made a speech at the reception.

The reception proceeded amid a soaring will of the participants to remain loyal to the Party's idea of building a powerful army through a rapid development of military education.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Watches Test-fire of 240 mm Shell of Multiple Rocket Launcher

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, watched the evaluation test-fire of 240 mm shell of a multiple rocket launcher produced at a newly established national defence industrial enterprise under the Second Economy Commission on April 25.

Through the test-fire, the flight features, hit and concentration indices of the shell which was produced at the newly established national defence industrial enterprise were evaluated very satisfactorily.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed the need for the relevant national defence industry enterprise to surely carry out the munitions production plan for this year in a qualitative way.

He affirmed that the 240mm multiple rocket launcher system with new technology would bring about a strategic change in bolstering up the artillery force of the Korean People's Army.

Pak Jong Chon and Jo Chun Ryong, secretaries of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Jong Sik, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Ko Pyong Hyon, chairman of the Second Economy Commission, guided the relevant test. -0-

The US imperialists displeased with the successful tactical nuclear counterattack drill of the DPRK claiming that these were a violation of UN Security Council resolutions and saying that these were threats 

Basically at the end of the day the measures carried out by the DPRK were carried out its own soil and were self-defensive in nature .The DPRK's self-defensive measures are to deter the threat of war and defend the independence and sovereignty of the DPRK .

As the press statement of the chief of the Foreign News Section of the Department of Press and Information of the DPRK Foreign Ministry points out "it is essential to take serious note of the negative impact of the on-going U.S.-ROK joint military drills on the regional situation and clearly discern who seeks confrontation and aggravates the situation"

It is the constant military exercises of the US and south Korea that have aggravated the situation and carried massive tensions in the region.

If the US and ROK puppets are worried about rising tensions on the Korean peninsula then they should desist from continuous  war exercises against the DPRK.

Today Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK), issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong ,vice department director of the Central Committee(CC) of the Workers Party of Korea(WPK) which was titled "Evil doer's audacity can never work on us " which was issued on the 24th of April ;

In her press statement of the 24th of April titled "Evil doer's audacity can never work on us" comrade Kim Yo Jong , vice department director of the CC of the WPK exposed and punctured the hypocrisy and double standards of the US imperialists .

The US have again tried to take issue with a legitimate self-defensive measure of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK )and tried to mobilise the UN Security Council (UNSC ) against the DPRK . However in her press statement comrade Kim Yo Jong  sets the record straight about the real cause of tension on the Korean peninsula .

The plain truth is that the US imperialists along with the ROK puppets  are trying to frame the DPRK for the tensions whilst in fact they are the ones carrying massive war exercises threatening the DPRK and undermining regional stability and peace. Comrade Kim Yo Jong exposes the huge number of military exercises carried out by the US and south Korea pointing out that " The U.S., together with Japan and the ROK puppets, are ceaselessly staging military exercises under various codenames against the DPRK almost every week. Witnessing such muscle-flexing alone, one can easily understand the reason why tensions are soaring in the region like a kindled detonating fuse."

In fact the US and the ROK puppets carried out countless military exercises from the start of the year right up to the present . A total of 80 military exercises has been carried out by the US and south Korea which equates to more than one military exercise per week !  These exercises have involved nuclear strategic assets as well as scenarios of invading and occupying the DPRK.

The tests of missiles by the DPRK are simply self-defensive measures which have been carried out in response the sabre rattling and aggression by the US imperialist and south Korean puppets . The people of the world need know the truth .

Comrade Kim Yo Jong declares that the DPRK will not be intimidated by the US imperialists and says that the DPRK will continue to build up its deterrent forces saying of the US and its puppets "If they attempt at armed counteraction against the DPRK counting on their master, they will be immediately annihilated"

 Warm greetings of the Korean National Peace Committee!

Entering this year, situation in and around the Korean peninsula is reaching to extremes due to the reckless military threat and war-provoking attempts of the U.S. and the ROK puppets against the DPRK.

On January 4 the U.S., showing its first maniac in the New Year by staging “joint combat firing drill” in alliance with the ROK puppet military gangsters, frantically perpetrated many war exercises under the various names of “exercise of containing chemical-biological-radioactive storing facilities”, “cyber alliance exercise”, “joint special operation exercise” and so on. And from January 15 it introduced nuclear anti-aircraft carrier the “Kal Vinson” and incited Japan and the ROK puppets to stage “joint maritime exercise” in the sea off Jeju islet for 4 days.

The U.S. spent a month of February with “combined naval exercise”, “winter-season joint drill”, “joint airborne drill”, “command communication drill” and others in alliance with the ROK puppet military gangsters. Not content with this, entering March it staged “joint airborne training exercise”, “combined tactical firing drill”, “combined air-to-air firing and air-to-ground bombing exercise” and joint airborne exercise “Ssangmae drill” which are kicked off under the pretext of large-scale joint military exercise “Freedom Shield”, and other outdoor mobile exercises, thus conducting extremely aggressive and provocative war exercises 24/7 for 48 rounds.

And ceaselessly reckless military exercises of the U.S., Japan and the ROK puppets with mobilization of the US nuclear strategic assets continued in April, too.

On April 2 the 3-party airborne exercise with participation of the US nuclear strategic bomber “B-52H” took place, just a few days later maritime exercise with the US nuclear anti-aircraft carrier “Theodore Roosevelt” conducted, and on April 18 “joint airborne infiltration exercise” staged. And it is due to be staged from April 12 to 26 the “combined joint formation drill” with participation of more than 100 warplanes of various kinds.

In August, 2023 heads of the U.S., Japan and the ROK met in Camp David in the outskirts of the Washington and made provocation of nuclear war towards the DPRK detailed, planned and official, and decided to make the 3-party military drill annual. In this context, all the above-mentioned military exercises being staged according to such commitment are clear “rehearsals” to translate the US nuclear war scenario against the DPRK into reality.

Entering this year the U.S. have staged military exercises for over 80 rounds with its vassal forces, and the ROK puppets for over 60 rounds independently. This is a clear testimony to the fact that who are the chief criminals in aggravating regional situation.

The DPRK armed forces conducted comprehensive tactical exercise simulating nuclear counterattack as a self-defensive measure to respond to the nuclear-war-provocation attempts of the U.S. and the ROK puppets, and sent a clear warning signal to the U.S. and the ROK unilaterally aggravating military tension around the Korean peninsula.

Despite such grave situation the U.S., talking about international response while finding fault with our just self-defensive measure as “violation of resolution” of the UNSC and as a “threat”, is making ridiculous attempts to put pressure on the DPRK.

On April 24 Kim Yo Jong, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and head of external news in charge of Report Department of the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the DPRK issued a talk strongly denouncing and rejecting such brigandish filing-a-suit-first moves of the U.S..

The Korean National Peace Committee is fully convinced of that all the progressive peoples of the world aspiring after peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world would get a clear understanding of who are the chief criminals in worsening the regional situation of the Korean peninsula, and would render firm support to and solidarity with the Korean people in their just struggles for defending peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.

Today Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK), issued a joint statement in support of the press statement  of comrade  Im Chon Il, vice foreign minister of the DPRK in charge of Russian affairs which was titled " U.S. Military Aid to Ukraine Is Just Mind-bending Drug" that was issued on Wednesday 24th of April ;

On the 24th of April comrade Im Chon Il , vice foreign minister of the DPRK in charge of Russian affairs issued a most excellent press statement about the huge amount of US military aid to the Ukraine . This was prompted by the recent vote in the US Congress to approve an aid package of 95 billion dollars to Ukraine . This is a stupendous sum of money which the US cannot afford as it is heavily in debt .Moreover there are many poor and homeless Americans who need money but the US is instead sending huge sums of money to the Zelensky puppet regime in Kiev.

It is a fact that the Zelensky puppets cannot exist without huge injections of aid from the US . They are basically parasites.

As vice -minister Im Chon Il says "Zelenskiy must be a "star" acting his part well according to the film script written by the U.S., rather than president of a country.

I affirm that the U.S. legislative military aid package is just a mind-bending drug for buoying up for a moment the Zelenskiy clique gripped with fear resulting from its ever-worsening position on battlefield and making it tilt at windmills"

It does not matter how much aid that the US gives the Zelensky puppets , they will still face ultimate defeat .

We concur with the content and sentiments of the press of comrade Im Chon Il .

Juche-based revolutionary armed force standing guard over the achievements of Juche-based socialism -special article on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army by Dr Dermot Hudson

  

The Korean People’s Army(KPA) origins go back to the 25th of April 1932 rather than simply the 8th of February 1948 when the KPA was founded as a regular revolutionary armed force . In fact the KPA was founded as the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army , which later became the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army(KPRA ) in March 1934  , on the 25th of April by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG in Antu, Manchuria where many Koreans had been exiled to because of the harshness and barbarity of Japanese imperialist colonial rule in Korea.

President KIM IL SUNG in his speech to the ceremony to found the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerilla Army declared that;

 “The AJPGA is made up of the workers, peasants and young patriots who oppose the Japanese imperialists and their stooges and love their country and people; it is a revolutionary armed force which will dedicate itself to protecting the interests of the people.

The aim and mission of the people’s guerrilla army is to overthrow the colonial rule of Japanese imperialism in Korea and bring national independence and social emancipation to the Korean people.”

The above words of President KIM IL SUNG adroitly summed up the nature , role and mission of the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army (AJPGA) .It was an army of workers and peasants as well as patriotic youth and it was a revolutionary armed force which aimed at not only national liberation but freeing the people from the shackles of feudalism , landlordism and capitalism.

President KIM IL SUNG also stressed that the AJPGA was a self-reliant , Juche-based revolutionary armed force saying that 

“We are now fighting against formidable Japanese imperialism under difficult circumstances, with neither home front nor foreign aid.

We must believe only in our united strength and have the firm conviction that we can defeat the enemy by our own strength. By our own strength I mean the organized and united masses of the people.”

The KPRA fought with the revolutionary  spirit of self-reliance and the Juche Idea . They seized weapons from the Japanese aggressors or manufactured their own . Some hoped that the Soviet Union, the first socialist state, would supply them with a hand-grenade factory but this never materialised so they made their own hand-grenades the 'Yongil bomb'(of course today the DPRK has its own nuclear 'Yongil bomb'.)    

                    

     In March 1934 the Anti Japanese People's Guerrilla Army became the Korean People's Revolutionary Army . Under the command of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG, an ever victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, the stout hearted and heroic guerrilla revolutionary fighters of the KPRA fought many battles against the Japanese  imperialist  aggressors such the battle of Pochonbo  and the battle of Musan to name just a few . The battle of Pochonbo on the 4 June 1937 was most significant as it symbolises the KPRA's advance into the Korean homeland.

   The hard and arduous struggle  of the AJPGA  led by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG paid off in the end on the 9th of August 1945 general KIM IL SUNG gave the order for the final offensive against the Japanese marauders . The KPRA together with Soviet army units surged into Korea , the KPRA often taking the lead in the more difficult battles. On August 15 1945 Korea was liberated at last from Japanese imperialist rule.

After liberation President KIM IL SUNG made the foundation of a standing , regular revolutionary armed force the order of the day and the guerilla based KPRA became the regular Korean People’s Army(KPA)  on the 8th of February 1948 . Since then the KPA has stood guard over the independence of People’s Korea and the gains of Juche-based socialism . 

The KPA received a baptism of fire in June 1950 when the US imperialists and ROK puppets invaded in the DPRK but  the KPA inflicted a crushing defeat on the US imperialists in the great Fatherland Liberation War of 1950-1953.The KPA also defeated the US in the ‘Pueblo incident’,'EC121 incident’, ‘Panmunjom incident’ of 1976 and the 1994 helicopter shoot down incident.

The KPA under the command of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, has defended the sovereignty and honour of People’s Korea during the intense confrontation with US imperialism in the second decade of the 21st century .Thanks to the steadfastness of the KPA which is now equipped with nukes and ICBMs , the outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula was averted in 2013, 2015 and 2017 .

Glory to the KPA , the inheritor and continuer of the traditions of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and defender of Juche-based socialism !

The International Central Committee For Songun Study issued the following statement on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army , the forerunner of the Korean People's Army ;

 The Korean People's Revolutionary Army(KPRA ) was founded as the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG  in April 1932 . It was the first revolutionary armed force of Juche as well as being a revolutionary armed force of the workers and peasants of Korea . The KPRA led by the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and gifted military strategist ,fought in the spirit of self-reliance and won many victories over the Japanese imperialist aggressors .Korea was liberated thanks to the efforts  and Juche -based , Songun based tactics of the KPRA .

   The KPRA became the basis of the regular revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea, the Korean People's Army (KPA ) . The KPA fully inherited the revolutionary spirit of the KPRA . Under the guidance of President KIM IL SUNG , Chairman KIM JONG IL and Marshal KIM JONG UN , the KPA has been built up as a mighty force of Juche and Songun , strong in both ideology and weaponry .

What Is Washington's Scheme to Extend Sphere of Alliance Aimed at

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Kang Jin Song, an international affairs analyst of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, issued the following article titled "What is Washington's scheme to extend the sphere of alliance aimed at":

The U.S. is now intensifying its scheme to expand and strengthen military blocs in the Asia-Pacific region.

As known, the U.S.-Britain-Australia tripartite defense authority talks on April 8 made public a joint statement on examining a proposal for promoting cooperation between AUKUS and Japan in the field of ultra-modern technology. And Biden confirmed Japan's participation in AUKUS at the U.S.-Japan summit held in Washington on April 10.

It means that the extension of AUKUS and the preferential participation of Japan have become formal.

The U.S. defends itself saying that cooperation between AUKUS and Japan is limited to the field related to eight core defense technologies, including artificial intelligence and cyber, and it's not aimed at increasing the number of AUKUS members, but the danger of Japan's participation in AUKUS is making the whole international community tense, not to mention the regional countries.

In September 2021, AUKUS was forged as a tripartite security cooperation body involving the United States, Britain and Australia. Since its founding, it has been called a nuclear mine planted in the waters of the Asia-Pacific as "the Anglo-Saxon nuclear submarine alliance" for seeking nuclear supremacy in the Asia-Pacific region by detouring the international nuclear non-proliferation system.

Judging from the fact that the extension of AUKUS has become formal and the first candidate for its membership is Japan, a state of aggression and war criminal which tried to develop nuclear weapons during the Second World War and has covertly beefed up its capability for manufacturing nuclear weapons after the war, this poses a serious problem in terms of security environment of the whole world including the Asia-Pacific region.

When the issue of extending AUKUS appeared on the table, Britain and Australia reportedly took a skeptical view, pointing out that Japan failed to fully protect sensitive information.

Although Canada and New Zealand, members of "Five Eyes" - an information-sharing body of Anglo-Saxons - were potential candidates for "AUKUS+", Japan has been designated as a candidate member of AUKUS, which is attributable to the U.S. pressure and persistent persuasion, according to experts.

Clear is the intention of the U.S. that persists in involving Japan in AUKUS.

It is the sinister intention of the U.S. to make Japan, a vanquished country which revised the "Pacifist Constitution" and is making frantic moves to beef up the forces of aggression under the cloak of "possessing counterattack capability", obsessed by nationalism, a crewmember of a confrontation ship called AUKUS and put it at the outpost line of the anti-China pressure and push the nuclear minefield in the Asia-Pacific region closer to China.

Most experts comment that the technical cooperation between AUKUS and Japan, promoted under the control of the U.S., will lead sooner or later to its full membership and to the additional admission of other potential candidate countries.

The Biden administration recently held a tripartite summit of the U.S., Japan and the Philippines in the wake of a U.S.-Japan summit to call for the strengthened security cooperation between Manila and Tokyo, and Canberra and Seoul. This is mainly aimed at building double and triple infrastructure for implementing the "integrated deterrence strategy" against China by ultimately putting together tools designed for achieving supremacy existing in the Asia-Pacific region in a "latticed" way.

The reality goes to prove once again that the "competition accompanied by dialogue" with China and the "installation of a guard rail" in bilateral relations, heard from U.S. public officials, are nothing but deceptive slogans and their thinking and practice are oriented to anti-China confrontation from A to Z.

Owing to the establishment of a "small group" of the U.S. whose arch enemy is China and its ceaseless attempt to expand the group, the Asia-Pacific region, where opportunities and potentials for development are richer than any other region of the world, is turning into a theatre of muscle-flexing and a touch-and-go nuclear minefield, and the ensuing immediate and prospective security burden has been heavily placed on the regional and international community.

The peace camp in the region and the rest of the world should heighten vigilance against the reckless moves of Washington to frantically expand its alliance sphere without limits, targeting a certain state. -0-

Press Statement by Vice-Minister for U.S. Affairs of DPRK Foreign Ministry

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Un Chol, vice-minister for U.S. affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), issued the following press statement on April 25:

The U.S. is busy filling up a breach of tattered sanctions and pressure mechanism as its illegal existence, engaged in the supervision over implementation of the anti-DPRK sanctions resolutions for the past decade, has been put at stake in the UN.

The intense sanctions, revealed by the present U.S. administration, are by no means new for the DPRK which has lived under such sanctions of the hostile forces for more than half a century.

Sanctions, a diplomatic tool extremely favored by the U.S., can be regarded as an inseparable means of existence for the U.S. that is staking its fate on domination and subordination upon other nations.

But it is an undeniable reality that the means has become a noose tightening the neck of the U.S. in the Korean peninsula.

Whenever the U.S. cooked up a new sanctions resolution in the UN arena, it triggered a more powerful and more developed nuclear test of the DPRK. Like this, the U.S. harsh sanctions have acted as catalyst and motive force that has encouraged the stepwise upgrade of the DPRK's national power.

It was just due to the U.S. nuclear threat that the DPRK decided to have access to nukes, and it was also due to the former's ceaseless hostile policy and sanctions and pressure that the latter could rank itself among the world's nuclear powers by running straight ahead.

Of course, the DPRK people had to pay a huge price under untold sufferings caused by the U.S. sanctions, the most brutal and unethical ever in history in terms of width, depth and duration.

As clarified by Kim Jong Un, the respected president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, the pain the U.S. has imposed upon the DPRK people has turned into a strong rage against the U.S., the wrath that is redoubling the DPRK's determination and will to bolster up the most powerful strength no one can match.

The DPRK has got used to the U.S. sanctions and acquired the capability and great strength to make headway against any harsh sanctions.

The DPRK is a state entity that grows stronger before harsher sanctions and pressure.

It is correctly looking through what the Biden administration is attempting to enliven the worn-out sanctions and pressure on the DPRK.

Clearly speaking, if the U.S. introduces a new version of sanctions against the DPRK, the latter will take a new opportunity necessary for its upward readjustment of force which the U.S. is most afraid of.

The U.S. can never deprive the DPRK of its self-respect, its strength and its will to counter the U.S. What the DPRK will lose in the confrontation with the U.S. is the chain of sanctions and the nuclear threat and what the former will gain there is its eternal security and prosperity.

The DPRK will reliably defend its sovereign rights and security interests from the U.S. ever-escalating hostile threat and sanctions and pressure and take more powerful practical actions to make its military technical strength irreversible and raise the capability of controlling the security situation in its vicinity. -0-

   On the 25th of April it will be 92 years since the Korean People's Army was originally founded as a revolutionary guerrilla force, the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army later known as the Korean People's Revolutionary Army. We Juche Idea and Songun idea followers and militant friends of People's Korea salute the anniversary of its foundation. Today the KPA is defending the independence of the DPRK and also peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
                               
                                          

   The foundation of the Anti-Japanese Peoples Guerrilla Army, in 1932, by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung, a gifted military strategist and ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, constitutes the bedrock of the Songun revolution.
   The Korean People’s Army, under the wise leadership of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, took over and carried forward the traditions of the anti-Japanese armed struggle. It is based solidly on revolutionary comradeship. Moreover, a tradition of army-people unity was created and today flourishes in Juche Korea.                       
                                                 

Under the wise leadership of the great generalissimo Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the KPA grew into steel strong ranks each soldier being a match for a hundred enemy soldiers. The KPA inflicted a crushing defeat on the US imperialists in the great Fatherland Liberation War of 1950-1953. The KPA also defeated the US in the ‘Pueblo incident’,' The EC121 incident’, ‘The Panmunjom incident’ of 1976 and the 1994 helicopter shootdown incident.
                                                                   
  The KPA became a truly Juche- orientated revolutionary armed force and is the army of the party,the working class and the leader. New theories of warfare have been created.'Moreover, under the leadership of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung,the KPA stuck to class and revolutionary principles, the revisionist and opportunist "non-class" theories were soundly smashed, The leadership of the party over the armed forces was maintained and enhanced, unlike some countries where socialism was frustrated.The KPA is truly an anti-imperialist, anti-revisionist army which defends socialism with the force of arms.
   The might of the KPA was further strengthened under the leadership of supreme commander Kim Jong Il, who practised Songun politics giving priority to the KPA regarding it as the central pillar of the revolution. KPA under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the great leader the KPA grew stronger in terms of ideology and politics but also materially. It is now equipped with the latest weaponry and has its own independent deterrent force. The KPA under the command of the Songun supreme commander Kim Jong Il and respected general Kim Jong Un smashed the provocations of the south Korean puppets in November 2010 turning Yongphyong island into a sea of flames.
 Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un  has implemented the great revolutionary line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel thereby strengthening the nuclear deterrent force of the KPA
exponentially so that the DPRK became a strategic state.                                                                                                                                   
                                       

The KPA which holds tight the arms of Songun has been ever-victorious over a period of eight decades. The KPA, the vanguard force of the Songun revolution, has defeated the imperialists many times, and under the leadership of supreme commander Kim Jong Un will defeat them again.
                                                                                                
   Today the destiny of world socialism and peace depends on the rifles of the Korean People's Army headed by respected supreme commander Marshal Kim Jong Un. The DPRK is on the frontline of the struggle between socialism and imperialism. It stands guard over the independence of the DPRK and the people-centred socialism, authentic socialism.  Under the command of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the Korean People's Army has been further strengthened as the mighty and invincible revolutionary armed force of Juche. We are convinced of the final victory of the KPA led by respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
