The Korean Friendship Association UK (KFA UK ) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held its 15th Joint Study session and Question and Answers on the 10th of December at 1900 hours via Skype . Participating were members of KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London , West of England , Oxfordshire , Shropshire and Scotland as well as guests from KFA Andalusia (Spain ) , KFA Germany , KFAUSA and the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland .
Questions were submitted in advance about e commerce in the DPRK , about whether the period after 1945 is covered in President KIM IL SUNG’s reminiscences “With the Century “ and about the veterinary service in the DPRK .
Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in answer to the question about e commerce said that the DPRK has for a number of years had an e commerce system with online ordering and payment .
Dr Hudson explained that President KIM IL SUNG regrettably passed away before completing his reminiscences “With The Century “ but the complete works of President KIM IL SUNG are being published and some of the volumes translated into English.
Dr Hudson said that the veterinary service in the DPRK is being developed and there are universities of veterinary science.
Other questions were asked about the following subjects; DPRK-China relations and the “South China Morning Post “ , amateur singing circles in the DPRK , heavy metal and the DPRK ,making texts of President KIM IL SUNG available to high school students , the DPRK and Syria and Christmas in the DPRK .
Dr Hudson said that the DPRK has not recognised the new Syrian regime .Christmas is generally not celebrated in the DPRK but some hotels serve Xmas lunch to foreigners.
Dr Hudson read extracts from “ Juche Idea , Answers to One Hundred Questions “ and “ Songun Idea Questions and Answers “.
