The United States intelligence agency has recently delivered what is called a report on the investigation into the origins of the novel coronavirus.

The report has not definitively concluded whether the virus was leaked from a laboratory or it jumped to humans via animals.

Tracing the origins of the virus is the issue to be addressed jointly by the scientists across the world, not to be dealt with by intelligence agency, because this is a scientific matter after all.

It is our consistent position that the work of tracing the origins of Covid-19 outbreak should not be politicized in any case but be carried out in an impartial and scientific manner.

Any acts must not be allowed which are designed to hurl groundless accusations and to undermine international climate of unity and collaboration by taking up a critical issue related to the safety of human lives.
