ASSPUK , BGSJI , UK KFA and BSCPRKP support comrade Kim Yo Jong's statement on the 'End of War Declaration'

24th of September Juche 110 (2021)

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the press statement issued by comrade Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee (CC)of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on Friday 24th of Sepember ;

   The press statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong , vice department directorr of C.C., WPK gives an apt and definitive answer to the call made by south Korean chief executive Moon Jae In, at the 76th UN General Assembly meeting , for declaration of the 'end of the Korean war '.

  Comrade Kim Yo Jong makes it clear that the DPRK does not reject peace and stressed in her statement that there is nothing wrong at all with an end of war declaration . However it is one thing to declare the end of the Korean war on paper but another thing to achieve an actual end to the war in practice . Substantial measures would need to be taken before this could be achieved . Comrade Kim Yo Jong incisively points out that ' Smiling a forced smile, reading the declaration of the termination of the war and having photos taken could be essential for somebody but I think that they would hold no water and would change nothing, given the existing inequality, serious contradiction there-from and hostilities.'

The south Korean authorities need to change their attitude before any progress towards an end of war declaration can be made .

  Comrade Kim Yo Jong states that the DPRK will have constructive discussions  with south Korea if it drops its hostile policy towards the DPRK and breaks with past habits .

We support the just stand of the DPRK as manifested in comrade Kim Yo Jong's press statement which is firm but fair .
