INTERNATIONAL CENTRAL COMMITTEE FOR SONGUN STUDY

The International Central Committee For Songun Study issued the following statement on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the historic June 15th Summit between the DPRK and south Korea in 2000;
20 years ago on June 15th in Pyongyang , DPRK , the first ever inter-Korean summit was held between Chairman KIM JONG IL and south Korean chief executive Kim Dae Jung . The summit broke through the icy glacier of division imposed by outside forces such as the US and heralded a new era of 'By Our Nation Itself ' .
The June 15 summit and declaration were the fruit of Songun politics and the leadership of Chairman KIM JONG IL .
The ideas of the June 15th declaration and those of subsequent inter-Korean declarations must be realised . To this end the US should quit south Korea and stop interfering in Korean affairs.
