London 16th June Juche 109(2020)
 The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) , UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement concerning the  demolition of the inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong earlier today ;
   Today the Korean Central News Agency reported that  ' The north-south joint liaison office was completely ruined on Tuesday..The relevant field of the DPRK put into practice the measure of completely destroying the north-south joint liaison office in the Kaesong Industrial Zone in the wake of cutting off all the communication liaison lines between the north and the south, corresponding to the mindset of the enraged people to surely force human scum and those, who have sheltered the scum, to pay dearly for their crimes .. At 14:50, the liaison office was tragically ruined with a terrific explosion'

   Firstly , it needs to be stressed that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK)  is fully entitled to do this and fully within its rights to destroy the structure as it is within the territory of the DPRK and not within south Korea. Moreover the office was empty and unused .
 Secondly, this step is fully in line with the statements issued by comrade Kim Yo Jong   first vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK)  and the United Front Department of the WPK. It shows that the DPRK means what is says and that its warnings should never be disregarded.
  Thirdly  the south Korean regime is entirely to blame for the deterioration of inter-Korean relations which forms a backdrop to the demolition of the inter-Korean liaison office . The south Korean regime connived at the the anti-DPRK operations of so-called 'defectors ' from the DPRK whilst pretending that it was nothing to do with them . Under inter-Korean agreements that were signed in 2018 both sides agreed to  end hostile actions in frontline areas . However the 'defectors' launched anti-DPRK leaflets from frontline areas against the DPRK . This was an act of psychological warfare and indeed reminiscent of the nazis during the second world war . Indeed psychological warfare is often the prelude to  actual physical aggression . If south Korea was serious about inter-Korean agreements why did it allow 'defectors' to operate on its territory , in fact why did it provide a living to 'defectors' and why did it offer a financial reward for people defecting from the DPRK ?
 Fourth , the people of the DPRK value and defend the supreme leadership and the socialist system . They are united around respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , the Workers' Party of Korea and the socialist system , they will fight tooth and nail to defend it and not tolerate any infringement on it . An insult to the supreme leadership of the DPRK is an insult to its people.
  When the present south Korean 'liberal ' regime took over from the preceding fascist puppet regime we wondered if it was simply the replacement of the old style corrupt fascist puppet regime with a trendy liberal puppet regime ? Was it is old wine  being served in new bottles ? .It is our contention that the south Korean regime saw inter-Korean relations and dialogue as a means to destroy the socialist system in People's Korea and actually annex the DPRK ! . The DPRK has now decisively said NO !
 The DPRK's action is a hard slap in the face to open and hidden enemies who want to destroy Juche socialism .
   We fully support and applaud the actions taken by the DPRK . We call upon the progressive and anti-imperialist movement not to have any illusions in south Korea but to support People's Korea  , 100 per cent !
