The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) , UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement in support of the statement in support of the statement of Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea that was issued on Saturday 14th of July ;
A tense situation has arisen on the Korean peninsula because the two-faced and useless south Korean authorities have broken the inter-Korean agreements that were inked in 2018 and brought the situation to a grave pass. The south Korean authorities have tried to pretend that the provocative anti-DPRK actions of 'defectors' have had nothing to do with them but such an assertion is just nonsense and baloney as the 'defectors ' are paid by the south Korean authorities and depend on them for their very existence . Comrade Kim Yo Jong declares that the time for talking is over and now is the time for action .
The people of the DPRK will not tolerate slanders against the supreme leadership of the DPRK which is their centre of unity .
The statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong says that it is now time to break with the south Korean authorities and to take actions against the south Korean authorities and the 'defectors'. The DPRK has so far severed communications with south Korea and is now ready to move onto the next stage which may involve military action .
We support the resolute and militant stance of the DPRK as manifested by the statement of comrade
Kim Yo Jong .
