             23rd of November Juche 105(2016)
The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK) and ,the Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) today issued a joint statement on the publication of the work "Let Us Further Intensify the Work of the Women’s Union under the Banner of Modelling the Whole Society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism" by the dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN , the Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.
The work takes the form of a letter conveyed to the historic 6th Congress of the Korean Democratic Women's Union at which it took the momentous decision to rename itself the Socialist Women's Union of Korea.
The fact that the 6th Congress of the Women's Union has been held and supreme leader Marshal KIM JONG UN has sent a letter to the Congress shows the importance that respected Marshal KIM JONG UN and the Workers' Party of Korea attach to women in the DPRK and the Women's Union.
Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN in the work gives a clear and precise definition of the nature and role of the women's movement in Korea pointing out that " The women’s movement in Korea is a Juche-oriented movement, which was pioneered by the great Comrade Kim Il Sung and which followed the proud road of development under the leadership of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il."This shows the women's movement in Korea is a truly unique one based on Juche and different to the women's movement in the capitalist countries and  the former socialist countries.
Dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN refers to the role played by the great leaders comrades KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL in founding the Women's Korea saying that
"Under the wise guidance of the great leaders the women’s union and women created a history resplendent with victory and glory, carrying forward the traditions of the Juche-oriented women’s movement.
In the grim decades of the revolution, the Korean women held up Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as their leaders and fathers and resolutely defended them, and death-defyingly carried out the lines and policies advanced by them in any adversity. Loyalty to the Party and the leaders was an element of unshakable revolutionary faith, conscience, will and practice of the Korean women."
He explains that that great leaders comrades KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL believed in prioritising women and that women are regarded as one of the two wheels of the revolution.
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN charts the proud history of the Women's Union from the anti-Japanese armed struggle , the Fatherland Liberation War ,  the Chollima Upsurge and the present day struggle to build a powerful thriving socialist country.
As the modelling of society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism has become
the order of the day respected Marshal KIM JONG UN puts forward a number of vital tasks for the women's union.Of Primary importance is training women into steadfast Kimilsungist-Kimjongilists.In order to achieve this the Party's unified guidance over the Women's Union must be strengthened and priority given to ideological education. In particular the imperialist ideological and cultural infiltration must be countered strictly because as respected Marshal KIM JONG UN says "The capitalist, bourgeois ideology and culture and alien lifestyle the imperialists are spreading are a dangerous poison that undermines the socialist system from within by debasing and degenerating the people ideologically and morally."
Marshal KIM JONG UN urges the Women's Union to strengthen its international solidarity and also to give support to south Korean women in their struggle for independent reunification.
All in all this work is an excellent one , a manifesto for the Juche-orientated women's movement that should be studied by the world progressive women.
