UK KFA hold succesful Liverpool meeting slamming south Korean human rights abuses

The UK Korean Friendship Association held a Merseyside and north west regional meeting on the 22nd of November in the city of Liverpool. It was attended by UK KFA members and representatives including Dr Dermot Hudson President of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and Chairman of the UK Korean Friendship Association.
A representative of the UK KFA for Liverpool opened the meeting saying that hundreds of thousands of people in south Korea had taken part in protests against the corrupt Park Geun Hye regime. He said that "south Korea has been a gross abuser of human rights for over 6 decades "

Dr Dermot Hudson addressed the meeting saying that south Korea is the worst ever fascist dictatorship in the world worst than any other fascist regime. He pointed out that in 1948 the south Korean puppets and US imperialists wiped out over 70,000 inhabitants of the Jeju Island who had risen up against the seperate elections being staged by the puppet fascist regime, adding that the US imperialists artifically divided Korea against the will of its people. Dr Hudson recalled meeting the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea for the first time in 2008 and how the organisation is illegal in south Korea due to the repressive National Security Law. Dr Hudson said that the south Korea puppet regime is the most corrupt in the world. He pointed out that
"The south Korean fascist regime throws people of various circles in south Korea aspiring after social progress, reform and reunification behind bars on charges of violation of the "Security Law" after labeling them "the forces following the north" and "the forces against social system" and cracked down on the peaceful rallies and demonstrations of the people demanding vital rights by terming them "illegal."
The privileged and the rich who account for just 1 percent of the population in south Korea treat toiling masses holding 99 percent of it as dogs and pigs and resort to high-handed and arbitrary practices, corruption and irregularities. Average property of Park Geun-hye showed a growth of 1 billion won in the past three years and seven out of ten public officials were reported to have increased their properties than last year. Choi Soon-sil Gate, Seong Wan-jong Scandal, Chung Yun-hoi Scandal and Woo Byung –woo Scandal are all large-scale incidents of abuses of power and grafts but they are only the visible tips of an iceberg."

Dr Hudson spoke about the murder of 70 year old farmer Baek Nam Gi by the Park regime  which was an act of cold blooded fascist brutality . Dr Hudson said that the leader of the south Korean trade unions had been jailed for 5 years. Dr Hudson also referred to the cases of Lee Seok Gi and the Unified Progressive Party  and Mr Ro Su Hui.
Dr Hudson said that the National Security Law is one of the most extreme in the world and is modelled on the fascist Japanese Public Order Maintenance Law.

Finally Dr Hudson outlined the history of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea the true vanguard of the south Korean revolution.

David UK KFA Organisation Secretary spoke . He made reference  to the serious crimes against women and children in south Korea saying that "south Korea is the country with the highest rate of sexual abuse of minors and women ahead of other countries like Great Britain, the United States, Germany or Japan. There were about 8.6 cases of sexual assault of minors per 100,000 inhabitants in 2008. Considering that the population under 19 in South Korea is high, it is a worrying fact"

Dr Hudson read out a presentation on human rights in the DPRK saying that in the DPRK human rights are guaranteed by the Juche Idea . In the DPRK everyone has the right to a fair trial , torture is banned and and people enjoy true socio-economic rights . This is in contrast to south Korea.

David UK KFA Organisation Secretary reported back from the successfulKFA International Meeting in Dublin saying it was attended by KFA delegations from many countries and that many good speeches were made.

Questions and Answers followed on subjects  such as the National Security Law in south Korea , the sanctions against People's Korea and the provocation against KFA President Alejandro Cao De Benos.
