The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche
Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship
Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017
Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint
statement condemning the UN Security Council statement on the recent successful test fire of the
DPRK's surface-to-surface medium to long-range strategic ballistic missile:
As clarified by the answer given by a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic
People's Republic of Korea, the UN Security Council on the 13th of February issued a press release and talked about taking additional measures . This was done manipulation of the U.S.
The UNSC has absolutely no business to take issue with the DPRK's missile test fire. It has nothing to do with the UNSC . It is the legitimate and sovereign right of the DPRK to test missiles . As the spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry pointed out "The self-defensive measure is for firmly protecting the sovereignty of
the country and the right to existence of the nation from the threat of
nuclear war posed by the U.S. and its vassal forces and reliably
guaranteeing the peace on the Korean peninsula and the security of the
region"
The UNSC has earned itself a poor reputation as a marionette of the US because it has repeatedly applied a double standard to the DPRK . It has condemned self-defensive measures of the DPRK but kept silent about the nuclear and missile test of other countries. The UNSC is not impartial.
There is nothing in the UN charter that makes nuclear and missile tests illegal. If there was the US would in the dock because it has carried out the greatest number.
We condemn the nonsensical stand of the UNSC and support the independent and sovereign right of the DPRK to legitimate self-defence.
