Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, Friday sent a message of greeting to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Kim Jong Un in the message extended warm congratulations to the president of Syria on his 55th birthday.
He said in the message that the Korean people are pleased to see the friendly government and people of Syria have firmly defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country under the correct leadership of their president.
The message sincerely wished the Syrian president good health and greater success in his responsible work, expressing the belief that the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger in the future. -0-
