Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The people of Kangbuk-ri in Kumchon County, North Hwanghae Province hit by natural disaster moved to new houses built as the socialist fairyland and a model socialist farm village by the struggle of service personnel of the People's Army true to the noble intention of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
A ceremony of moving to newly built houses in the seat of Kangbuk-ri was held on Sept. 17.
Attending it were Pak Chang Ho, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Im Hun, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, residents of the seat and solider builders.
Pak Chang Ho made a congratulatory speech.
He said that though Kim Jong Un was very busy with state affairs, he ordered the KPA to urgently dispatch service personnel to the area to facelift the village and settled all the problems arising in the construction, right after receiving a report about the situation in Kangbuk-ri.
The soldier builders who rushed to the damaged area on the order given by Kim Jong Un reconstructed the seat of Kangbuk-ri by waging a fierce struggle and achieved the proud success of making the first report of victory on the front for the recovery from natural disaster to the Central Committee of the WPK, he said.
He noted that the Supreme Leader personally visited Kangbuk-ri, Kumchon County whose looks have undergone a radical change, hoped the residents in the place would settle down in the new village and new dwelling houses to lead a happy life and that the area would always be visited by fortune, and took a benevolent measure of letting the inhabitants move to new houses earlier.
He stressed that all the officials and agricultural workers should bear in mind the boundless loving care and benevolence of the mother Party which would be handed down forever, trust in and follow only our Party to the end with a single mind and defend socialism and our revolution with rice.
House licenses were conferred on the residents in the damaged area at the ceremony.
Resolution speeches were made there.
Speakers said that they would bear in mind the present deep gratitude and happiness forever and thoroughly carry out the Party's agricultural policy for glorifying the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK and its Eighth Congress with the proud success of high-yield.
And the residents entered new dwelling houses amid the congratulations from officials, working people and soldier builders.
The officials of the province and commanding officers of the unit which participated in the construction visited families that moved to new dwelling houses. They congratulated the residents who were excited to move to modern houses with all wonderful living conditions and shared pleasure with them, giving daily necessities.
The gratitude of the people was full of each dwelling house in the socialist fairyland village that was built by removing all traces of great disaster. -0-
