The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement supporting the bolstering of the DPRK's nuclear deterrent and slamming the hypocrisy of Obama;
    Recently Obama, the US chief executive, slandered the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea at a meeting of the imperialist and capitalist G7 grouping . Obama spewed out nonsense about the so-called " provocation" of the DPRK and mouthed silly platitudes about a "world without nuclear weapons".
    Obama's hypocrisy increases by leaps and bounds . It is the US that holds the biggest stockpiles of nuclear weapons in the world. What is ironic is that Obama actually visited the place where the US first used nuclear weapons. How can Obama take issue with the DPRK's nuclear deterrent when it is the US that has enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world many times over and was the first power to use nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state and still refuses to commit to the "No first use " principle.
   The slogan of " a world without nuclear weapons " is just about the US forcing
other countries to give up or substantially reduce their nuclear deterrent while the US keeps its nuclear monopoly . It is 7 years since Obama first came out with the slogan of " a world without nuclear weapons" but in reality no progress has been made towards this. Obama shamelessly took issue with the DPRK's nuclear deterrent but this is purely self-defensive and was built up in response to the US nuclear threat to the DPRK which has existed for decades. If the US really wants to see denuclearisation on a world scale then it as the biggest possessor of nuclear weapons should dismantle its nuclear arsenal first.
   Our organisations are totally convinced that the DPRK is absolutely correct to
bolster its nuclear deterrent and to stick to the great revolutionary line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel.
