Three years have passed since the DPRK -US summit . At the time some people said that the DPRK had agreed to unilaterally disarm and would soon open a McDonalds in Pyongyang !
The DPRK has not dismantled a single nuke or ICBM and there is no McDonalds in Pyongyang (although there is a DPRK owned fast food restaurant ) This shows that whilst the DPRK can be flexible , at the same time it is principled and resolute .It defends independence and goes it own way .
The DPRK’s stance contrasts with that of the former USSR under Khruschov which in 1962 capitulated to the US after a mere 6 days .
People’s Korea is to be admired for its independent stand!
