The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula issued a joint statement in support of the statement of North-side Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Crimes issued on Monday 12th of June:
As our organisations stated earlier June 13th is the 15th anniversary of the killing of two innocent south Korean schoolgirls. An APCof the U.S. imperialist aggression forces in south Korea ran over and mercilessly killed the two girls Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son on a road of Kwangjok-myon of Yangju City in Kyonggi Province in broad daylight on June 13, 2002.
As the North-side Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Crimes correctly states this was not an accident nor the actions of individual American soldiers "but an inevitable product of the U.S. imperialists' military presence in south Korea."
The south Korean people have suffered seven decades of US military occupation during which the US forces have committed all kinds of crimes including the killings of a number of people. This is why south Korean people cry out ' do not distress any longer' ! . The US is not a friend or benefactor of the Korean people but their oppressors and exploiters .Moreover they are responsible for the division of the Korean nation.
The US was never invited into Korea. It is an unwanted interloper. As North-side Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Crimes says " The south Korean people should stage a high-pitched struggle for independence against the U.S. in order to drive the U.S. imperialist aggressors, the sworn enemy of the Korean nation, out of south Korea and regain their dignity and sovereignty"
It is our contention that US troops should be withdrawn from south Korea immediately. We support the struggle of the south Korean people for the total and complete withdrawal of US forces from south Korea !
