Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Participants in 8th KCU Congress












Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un had a photo session with the participants in the 8th Congress of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

When Kim Jong Un appeared at the venue of the photo session, KCU delegates presented a fragrant bouquet to him and put a red tie around his neck.

The 8th Congress of the KCU was an important occasion for further developing it into eternally glorious children's union of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, he said, and warmly congratulated the participants in the congress who displayed over the world the spirit of three million KCU members fully preparing themselves to be reliable reserves for building a socialist power and true successors to the youth league by steadfastly carrying forward the traditions of the anti-Japanese children's corps and the lineage of Paektu.

Expressing the belief that the participants in the congress would bring about a new revolutionary turn in the KCU work and strengthen it into the rank of future heroes of the powerful Paektusan nation, being always ready for socialist Korea, he had a photo session with them.

Present at the photo session were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK; Ri Il Hwan, department director of the C.C., WPK; and Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League. -0-
