Dynamic Struggle for Ending GIs' Presence in S. Korea Urged

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the North-side Headquarters of the Nationwide Special Committee for Probing the Truth behind the GIs' Crimes released a statement on Monday over the lapse of 15 years since U.S. imperialists brutally killed two girl students of south Korea.

The statement said:

An armored vehicle of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces in south Korea ran over and mercilessly killed the two girls Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son on a road of Kwangjok-myon of Yangju City in Kyonggi Province in broad daylight on June 13, 2002.

This murder case was neither an accidental incident nor a crime of individual GI but an inevitable product of the U.S. imperialists' military presence in south Korea.

The seven decades-long history of the U.S. military presence in south Korea is characterized by the most hideous aggression, plunder and murder GIs perpetrated to trample down the south Korea's aspiration and desire for independence and impose unbearable destiny of colonial slaves upon them.

Not content with bringing unheard-of disgrace, humiliation, disaster and pain upon the south Korean people, the gangster-like U.S. imperialist aggressors are running amuck to impose a terrible nuclear holocaust upon the Korean nation while frantically staging a risky war racket against the DPRK.

All facts go to clearly prove that the U.S. is neither a "nation friendly" to the south Korean people nor their "guardian" but a root cause of all misfortune and pain of the Korean nation.

The south Korean people should stage a high-pitched struggle for independence against the U.S. in order to drive the U.S. imperialist aggressors, the sworn enemy of the Korean nation, out of south Korea and regain their dignity and sovereignty.

To put an end to the U.S. domination and control, they should resolutely foil the treacherous moves of the pro-U.S. forces seeking to maintain power with the backing of the U.S.

All Koreans in the north, the south and abroad will surely bring earlier the day of independent reunification when they will be free from outsiders' interference by staging a brisk nationwide struggle to put an end to the U.S. imperialist aggression forces' presence in south Korea, the root cause of all misfortune and trouble. -0
