ASSPUK,JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP denounce south Korean 'liberal ' regime over NSL

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement supporting the statement of the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea concerning the National Security Law in south Korea :
  Despite the recent and much vaunted change of regime in south Korea from a 'conservative ' one 
to a 'liberal' , the National Security Law (NSL) , a fascist McCarthyite relic which has been in force for almost 70 years. The NSL is anti-reunification  because its premise is the DPRK , the northern half of the country is the enemy therefore any contact with the north is punishable.
 Recently the new , so-called, 'liberal' regime have upheld the NSL . As the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea pointed out ' Shortly ago, the south Korean judicial authorities held the final hearing on an appeal at the Seoul High Court and demanded five years in prison for an inhabitant, who posted an article praising the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu on websites and called for reunification through alliance, on charges of violation of the "Security Law".

On June 13 they held a trial of a reverend and sentenced him to three years in prison on charges of espionage that he was linked with the north during the Park Geun Hye regime.' 

  The time for the abolition of the NSL is long overdue  ! It the new south Korean authorities are really serious about reunification , they should scrap it at once.
