June 19 is remarkable day in the proud history of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the organizer and guide of all victories of Korean people. This year it marks the 53rd anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK.

His start of work at the C.C. of the WPK was a historic event of great significance in strengthening and developing the Party and carrying out the cause of Juche revolution.

With his energetic ideological and theoretical activities, he formulated the revolutionary idea of the President Kim Il Sung as Kimilsungism to lay firm foundations for developing the WPK into the party of the President both in name and reality.

He developed the WPK into a united and invincible one that the monolithic system of leadership has been firmly established. Under the banner of Kimilsungism, the WPK has covered with victories and glories without failure or deviation in its policy.

The above-said facts are brilliant fruition achieved by Chairman Kim Jong Il, the eternal leader of the WPK, who was a peerless veteran statesman and the personage of love and benevolence.

Admiring for the invincible might of the WPK and happy life of the DPRK provided by the Party, the south Korean people eulogize highly the greatness of the Chairman who performed immortal exploits of the party building.

They said as following. “Chairman Kim Jong Il consolidated the WPK as a motherly party for the popular masses. Only the WPK, in the world, is supported and trusted unreservedly by the popular masses and called as a motherly party that has close ties of kinship with the masses.”

Now the great history and tradition of the WPK, glorified under the wise leaderships of the preceding leaders, are being successfully carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

As he was elected as the Chairman of the WPK at the 7th Congress of the WPK, the WPK has been strengthened into the eternal Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist party and the bright future of Sun’s Korea has been assured.

Under the prominent leadership of the supreme leader, June 19 will remain immortal in the ever-victorious history of the WPK.
