KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a statement denouncing the latest UN Security Council(UNSC) statement of the 22nd of May ;
Recently the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) successfuly tested the strategic ballistic missile Pukguksong-2. This was a great advance for the DPRK. It is the DPRK's independent and sovereign right to test all kinds of self-defensive measures including the test of ballistic missiles. The test should also be seen in the context of increasing US pressure and threats against People's Korea including the dispatch of an aircraft carrier strike group.
The UNSC have ignored all these facts and issued a statement denouncing the DPRK and calling for incresed sanctions. Really the UNSC is losing its authority and is becoming regarded as a bunch of windbags spouting lots of hot air. The UNSC is a puppet of the US imperialists.
The DPRK does not need the permission of the UNSC or anyone else to test missiles . Nor does the UNSC have any valid authority to decided the legality of missile tests on the territory of a sovereign state.
We support and indeed applaud the DPRK's just and correct rejection of this latest nonsense from the UNSC. The DPRK is correct to step up its nuclear deterrence.
