  The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a joint statement supporting the statement of the DPRK Consultative Council for National Reconciliation made on Thursday 12th of January:
   The DPRK has made many sincere and above board proposals for peaceful reunification. It is a fact that at the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and in his New Year Address for 2017 dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made significant proposals for independent and peaceful reunification. However such proposals have been wilfully ignored by the south Korean authorities who have persisted with a most confrontational anti-DPRK stance.
   Moreover they have attacked the DPRK's Juche-orientated measures for increasing national defence power and have slandered the advantageous socialist system of Korean style.
   Such intemperate and ill-considered behaviour will do the south Korean puppets no good . They should look reality in the face and stop relying on the USA and instead accept the DPRK's proposals for reunification in good faith.
