Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Japan launched military satellite Kirameki-2 on Jan. 24.
Kirameki-2, the first independent satellite of the Defence Ministry,
will be reportedly used for commanding and controlling all units of the
"Self-defence Forces" and information sharing among them.
Now the Japanese reactionaries insist that the purpose of the
satellite launch is to contain the DPRK but it is clear to even a mere
child that it is targeting the neighboring countries.
What matters is that the U.S. and its vassal forces, which cried out
for "sanctions" after branding the DPRK's launch of satellite for
peaceful purposes as a "provocation" and "threat", are keeping mum about
the military satellite launch of Japan.
Under the double-dealing standard unilaterally set by the U.S., the
bullying forces term the DPRK's legitimate exercise of satellite launch
for peaceful purposes "illegal" and "provocation" but tacitly connive at
some countries' satellite launch for clear military purposes. This is a
common practice on the international arena at present.
The world political arena today turned into a theater of violence
centered on big powers in which justice, truth, conscience, obligation,
equality and respect gradually disappear and injustice, strong-arm
politics, hegemony, arbitrary practices, aggression and domination
prevail and the most elementary principle governing the international
relations set by humankind under agreement are disregarded.
The U.S.-led imperialist forces resort to undisguised domination and
interference, openly violating weak and small nations' sovereignty and
the right to existence.
They insist on the jungle logic that other countries must not do
what they do and even take issue with the sovereign states' legitimate
right and legitimate exercise of sovereignty.
The "privileged" forces who lord it over the UN and other arenas of
the world unilaterally handle all the issues to meet their interests in
wanton violation of the independent requirements and interests of
majority of the developing countries.
The trend of the situation surrounding the DPRK clearly reflects the epitome of the extremely unfair world politics.
The DPRK has been exposed to unprecedented nuclear threat and
blackmail and political, economic and military pressure for decades for
the mere reason that it has not yielded to the U.S. high-handed and
arbitrary practices.
In recent years the U.S. openly cried out for "regime change" and
"collapse of social system" while describing the DPRK's declaration of
its possession of smaller H-bomb and its military measures for
self-defence as "serious threat" and "provocation" to the world peace
and security and hurling huge nuclear strike means into the Korean
peninsula.
In the world which sees the rein of the jungle law whereby justice
is branded as injustice if one is weak, the DPRK had access to nuclear
weapons, prompted by its noble sense of obligation to defend the
sovereignty and dignity of the nation more valuable than one's own life
in the face of the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the U.S. and
other big powers and usher in the historic era of independent
reunification and peace and prosperity for all the generations to come
by its own efforts.
It is the truth proven by history that one has to build up one's own
strength in order to protect the dignity and sovereignty of the nation.
