Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- It is the firm stand of the Workers'
Party of Korea and the DPRK government to get firmly united with those
countries championing independence and make concerted efforts with them
to ensure genuine international justice, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in
an article.
The DPRK protected justice with its tremendous military muscle,
adhering to the anti-imperialist independent stand and principle of
socialism without slightest vacillation when not a few countries
abandoned principle, compromised and submitted to injustice, yielding to
the U.S. military pressure and arbitrary practices, the article notes,
and goes on:
The imperialists left no stone unturned in blocking the advance of
the DPRK, the bulwark of independence and justice, and stifling
Korean-style socialism. They slapped international sanctions and
blockade against the DPRK and escalated the moves for aggression after
listing it as a target of preemptive nuclear attack.
But they could not provoke the DPRK even a bit as it emerged a military power with the might of Songun.
Had the DPRK failed to take measures for building up its powerful
military muscle, counting on others, it would not have been able to
frustrate the heinous moves of the imperialists for aggression and
defend the country's sovereignty and international justice.
No matter how the international situation and the structure of
relations with neighboring countries may change, the DPRK will remain
unchanged in its will to increase its military muscle and protect the
country's sovereignty, national dignity and genuine international
justice as long as the imperialists and hegemonic forces persist in
their moves to stifle its socialist system. -0-
