The
Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche
Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship
Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017
Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued the
following joint statement in support of the statement of the DPRK
Foreign Ministry issued on the 26th of January :
The
dear respected leader Marshal KIM JONG UN in his New Year Address for
2017 reaffirmed the inviolable
basic stance of the DPRK in foreign affairs namely , independence ,
peace and friendship. This
is the cornerstone of the DPRK's foreign policy laid down by the
great leaders President KIM IL SUNG and Chairman KIM JONG IL .Now the
DPRK will actively develop its external relations on on the basis
that it is both a dignified independent power and a nuclear power.
The
principles of independence ,peace and friendship are an application
of the great Juche in the sphere of international relations.
Moreover they represent realistic guidelines for the development of
foreign relations. The DPRK does not accept interference in its
internal affairs but it at the same time it does not interfere in
other countries nor impose its will on others.
The
world today is full of example of countries interfering in other
countries and imposing their will on other countries. The main
culprit is the US but other Western imperialist powers and the big
powers also interfere in the affairs of other countries. For world
peace it is essential for the US and others to stop intervening in
other countries and respect their sovereignty.
Our
organisations are very sure that the DPRK will make a great
contribution to realising the dream of a new independent and peaceful
world and will dynamically develop its foreign relations.
