Kim Chol Ju, Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Fighter

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Today marks the centenary of the birth of Kim Chol Ju, an indomitable revolutionary fighter who sacrificed himself for the implementation of the idea and line of President
Kim Il Sung.
Kim Chol Ju had been intensely loyal to Kim Il Sung in the period when the cause of Juche revolution was started.
At that time Kim Il Sung stressed the need for the Korean children to turn out in the struggle to liberate the country from the Japanese imperialist aggressors.
As a core member of the Saenal Children's Union, the first juvenile revolutionary organization in Korea, he made all his efforts to enlightening the popular masses through art activities and publishing newspaper Saenal (new day).
Active as a secretary of a district committee of the Young Communist League, he worked hard to persuade the Chinese anti-Japanese nationalist units to form alliance with the Anti-Japanese People's Guerilla Army led by Kim Il Sung in the armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists.
Kim Chol Ju died a heroic death in a battle with enemies in an area near Chechangzi at the age of nineteen.
Though he passed away, he is always with all the servicepersons and people of the DPRK, inspiring them to perform great feats in the struggle for building a thriving socialist nation. -0-
