The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the  inquiry report of the The DPRK Measure Council for Human Rights in South Korea;
We support the inquiry report of the The DPRK Measure Council for Human Rights in South Korea . South Korea is the worst and most despotic fascist regime in the world where human rights violations are most severe. Over the past year the human rights situation in south Korea has worsened considerably owing to the repressive policies of the Park Geun Hye regime.
  The rights of working people have been viscously trampled down  by the reactionaries, the enemies of labour. The trade union confederation in south Korea has had its leaders arrested and its offices ransacked by fascist police. Demonstrations have been ruthlessly suppressed . As the report of the DPRK Measure Council For Human Rights in South Korea states" The water cannon used by the police against peaceful citizens on April 18 and 24 and May 1 amounted to over 79 000 litres".
   The National Security Law still remains in force in south Korea and more people are being arrested under it.  Taking the knife attack on the US ambassador in south Korea on the 5th of March as the pretext the south Korean puppet reactionaries have whipped up a McCarthyite atmosphere  with a witchhunt directed at "forces following the north". There have been numerous arrests of progressives, pro-reunification figures and Juche Idea followers in south Korea.
  The internet newspaper "Jaju Minbo" was set down by force. The south Korean puppets have embarked on the compilation of history books , basically an attempt to rewrite history and brainwash people.
 The most serious crime committed by the south Korean puppets is the connivance at the US plans for bio-chemical war on the Korean peninsula which would mean inflicting a holocaust on the entire Korean nation.
    South Korea is a highly exploitative society , a real hell on earth, where workers work the longest hours in the world. South Korea is well known as a society where the rich get ever richer but the poor get ever poorer.
  It is high time that British progressives, anti-imperialists and trade unionists launched a campaign to expose human rights violations in south Korea . The Inquiry Report of the DPRK Measure Council For Human Rights in South Korea should have a wide readership and distribution.
