The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement condemning the unjust and dictatorial imposition of sanctions on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea:
It is a diabolic outrage that the UN Security Council have imposed so -called 'additional sanctions' on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea  for the mere fact that it refused to submit to the world dictatorship of the US and exercised its sovereignty by launching a satellite and conducting a self defensive H bomb test. These sanctions are a declaration of war and a negation of the DPRK's sovereignty .
The sanctions are truly unjust and extreme as they include sanctions on the DPRK National Aerospace Development Administration, which is a civilian space agency . This is unprecedented in the history of the UN. These sanctions are a mean attempt by the US and its cohorts to put a spoke in the wheel of socialist construction in the DPRK and stifle the socialist system of the DPRK.
The UN Security Council has lost any impartiality it had become a marionette, a rubber stamp and an executive enforcement agency of US imperialism . Those voting for the resolution in the UNSC were the US and other imperialist reactionaries as well some neo-colonial regimes and unprincipled and treacherous big power chauvinists.
Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA, strongly condemn the sanctions . We believe that guided by the Juche idea and the principle of self-reliance the DPRK will defeat the sanctions. However the sanctions constitute an aggressive and ill willed act towards the DPRK and a grave infringement of it's sovereignty . We call on all progressive organisation and anti-imperialists to oppose the sanctions and campaign against them.
