ASSPUK,JISGE and UK KFA support DPRK FM statement on Japanese rightist conservatives deception

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea,issued on the 14th of August , concerning attempts of Japanese imperialists to conceal their crime-ridden past;

It is important not to get fooled by the tricks and double dealing of the Japanese ultra-rightist conservatives led by Abe. The statement announced by Abe is not an honest admission of Japan's crimes.

The Japanese colonial oppressors had literally sucked the life out of the Korean people. . The Japanese imperialists plundered huge amounts of resources. Korean people even lost the right to speak Korean or to use Korean names. Another crime committed by the Japanese imperialists was force 200,000 Korean women into sexual slavery as well taking many young Koreans to Japan to work as forced labourers in mines and munitions factories. Although all imperialism and colonialism is bad it can be argued that Japanese imperialism is probably the most cruel and and barbaric.

Even after the liberation of Korea Japanese crimes against Korea continued . Japan covertly participated in the Korean War of 1950-1953 on the side of the US.
It is no use to talk about admitting past crimes. Actions speak louder than words and the action Japan needs to take is to finally liquidate its crimes.

We strongly support the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry on this issue .
