ASSPUK, BGSJI , UK KFA and BSCPRKP denounce 'Open Letter ' of Article 19

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement denouncing the so-called 'Open Letter ' of 'Article 19 

A previously unheard of NGO calling itself Article 19 has sent a letter to UN Member states attacking People’s Korea using the worn out tired old horse chestnut of ‘human rights ‘ .It even attacked the DPRK for celebrating the anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea . This is absurd ! . It is the Workers Party of Korea(WPK)  that is the guiding force of the Korean people and also looks after them , taking care of their lives and fighting for their interests . The fact that the DPRK is attacked for celebrating the anniversary of the WPK shows that Article 19 is blatantly anti-communist . Moreover it shows their desire to overthrow the socialist system in the DPRK .

   What is Article 19  . At first sight Article 19 appears to be a clone of Amnesty International , a duplicate of it but it is possibly even more sinister than Amnesty International and more blatant in its anti-socialism . Article 19 is a neo-liberal NGO . It was set up by an American millionaire from California) . Donors to Article 19 include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation  , the extreme neo-liberal  Open Society Initiative(established by George Soros and aims at the overthrow of sovereign governments) , the Ford Foundation (linked to the US government and CIA ) , the Scandinavian far right group Fritt Ord Foundation( which funded the ‘Mole ‘ film ) and  the US capitalist IT monopoly Hewlett Packard .

   Article 19 , to our knowledge , has never criticised the US and UK over human rights  or done anything to help victims of poverty and exploitation in the West .It is in countries like the US , UK and other countries of the West where human rights are violated.

 Article 19 ‘s letter to UN member states comes out with the usual lies about human rights in the DPRK . It falsely accuses the DPRK of ‘starvation ‘ without any evidence , it is an actual fact that every DPRK citizen is supplied with basic food at low cost as well as housing  , Visiting the DPRK 18 times ,we  have never ever seen anyone starving in the DPRK  .Article 19 has never visited the DPRK once !. Human rights and freedom of expression are guaranteed by the DPRK Socialist Consitution  and by the Juche-based , people -centred socialist system 

 We  rejects the lies of Article 19 !
