The highest stone tower (170 m) in the world, the Tower of the Juche Idea
stands on the banks of the Taedong River which flows through the central part of
Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The torch on top of the tower symbolizes the Juche idea which elucidates the
way for carving out the destiny of man, as well as the victory of the idea.
