Factory Built by the Workers’ Party of Korea’s View of Posterity

Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory is a comprehensive foodstuff producer for children which regularly supplies not only foodstuff for babies in breast feeding and weaning periods such as powdered milk for babies, nutritive rise powder, varieties of powdered vegetables, powdered tangle and powdered fish, but soy-based milk and soy-based kefir good for the growth and development of children and pupils.

President Kim Il Sung who called children kings of the country fixed the site of the factory.

President Kim Il Sung who always thought of how to feed milk to children to their satisfaction took a measure to produce milk from soy bean to suit the limited stock farming conditions of the country.

In support of the noble intention of the President, leader Kim Jong Il saw to it that a modern soy-based milk production base was built at the Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory.

In June Juche 81(1992) the factory started to supply soy-based milk to every child of nurseries and kindergartens and every pupil of primary and secondary schools in Pyongyang 100-200g per day.

Visiting the factory in July Juche 90(2001), leader Kim Jong Il was informed with pleasure that soy-based milk had been supplied regularly everyday to children and pupils in Pyongyang even during an Arduous March in which everything was lacking due to the imperialists’ moves to isolate and suffocate the DPRK in the 1990s.

He pointed out that it shows what kind of society our socialism is.

In December Juche 103(2014) Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the factory and said the Workers’ Party of Korea attaches a particular importance to the factory and the mothers of the whole country are much interested in it.

Nothing that the hostile forces are machinating to prevent the laughter of children from ringing, he stressed that with the increased production of foodstuff for children we should show how we defend the happy life of children and how we maintain socialism.

Like this, the Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory is associated with the noble love for posterity of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
