KCNA Commentary Censures "Human Scum Who Defected from North"

 Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The "defectors from the north" are human scum who betrayed the country and its people and abandoned even elementary conscience and moral obligation as human being. They are taking the lead in the anti-DPRK smear campaign.
    It is a sin for anyone to flee the motherland that brought up and took care of him. It is the thrice-cursed crime to speak ill of the motherland by cooking up sheer lies for a petty amount of money.
    One of those betes noires is Choe Ju Hwal who is going reckless with the campaign as chairman of the "Fellowship Society of Defectors from the North" in south Korea.
    As far as he is concerned, he lost his father at the hands of U.S. imperialists and class enemies during the Korean war.
    The country, therefore, brought him up with deep loving care. He was obliged to live up to this benevolence.
    However, he is serving the enemies who killed his father. Can a human being behave so ungratefully?
    Whoever is blinded with money-making does not hesitate to perpetrate such acts that make brutes blush.
    Working in the trade field in the past, Choe embezzled state funds to lead a degenerate life. He committed lots of unpardonable illegal acts in pursuit of money and luxury.
    Afraid of the disclosure of his crimes, he abandoned his mother, wife and two children and ran away during overseas business tour. Then he found himself in a cesspool of crimes.
    He was engrossed again in swindles to earn money just as other "defectors from the north" make no scruple of making money.
    He has been hired by the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces to groundlessly slander the socialist system in the DPRK and has zealously taken part in heinous hostile acts against it.
    Great irony is that the hostile forces are dreaming of stamping out the ideology of the DPRK and bringing down its social system by paying a petty amount of money to those worse than animals who betrayed the country which brought up them and put forward them, abandoned their wives and children and unhesitatingly colluded with the enemies who killed their fathers for the sake of the money.
    No matter what infamy such human scum as Choe stoop to, they can neither conceal their ugly true colors nor seek a way out. -0-
