The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) issued the following joint statement in support of the White Paper issued by the  Korean Jurists Committee on Tuesday 3rd of March;

                  Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA , congratulate the Korean Jurists Committee for the excellent White Paper which exposes the US as the biggest violator of human rights in the world .  We applaud the publication of the White Paper as it is necessary to put the truth before the world about the crimes and abuses of the US imperialists. The US imperialists have concocted a vexatious "human rights " report on the DPRK and pushed some mendacious resolutions through the UN based on the 'report' . In actual fact the report is based on lies told by a small number of traitors and criminals who deserted from the DPRK in order to escape justice . The anti-DPRK human rights campaign waged by the US is an infringement of the DPRK's sovereignty and aims at creating an institutional lever for permanent interference in the DPRK with the ultimate goal of destroying the people-centred socialist system in the DPRK and restoring capitalism.
It is the US that is the worst human rights abuser. Only recently in the US city of Los Angeles a homeless man was tasered and then shot dead by the US police , it was as if he was executed for being homeless. The US is not simply a human right violator but an oppressive state, a state where the rich oppress the poor. It should never take issue with other countries

          The US has 25% of the world's prison population although it only has 5% of the world's population . This is disproportionate and the imbalance shows that there is something very wrong with the US .
                              The human rights abuses of the US are carried out far beyond its borders.The US has intervened in many countries  instigating coups and establishing fascist dictatorial regimes in many parts of the world such as south Korea. Recently it was revealed that the US carried out systematic torture of detainees . U.S. set up secret prisons in 9 countries including Afghanistan and Iraq and has operated them on a permanent basis. It has 47 torture facilities across the world and spent nearly 81 million U.S. dollars for developing cruel torture technology.
                      The US has also imposed sanctions on many countries  which is both an act of war and a basic violation of human rights . The DPRK itself has been subjected to US sanctions for nearly 70 years . Recently Obama the reactionary warmonger imposed additional sanctions on the DPRK on the spurious grounds of the Sony Hacking incident. In the past the US had imposed sanctions on Iraq causing many deaths.

                         Thus the loud anti-DPRK "human rights " campaign of the US and its sycophants is a ruse to divert attention away from the massive and persistent human rights abuses of US imperialism. In conclusion we support the call of the Korean Jurists Committee to "to expose and condemn the U.S. barbarous human rights abuses and check and frustrate them."
