KCNA Report Exposes Truth about U.S.-Engineered Cheonan Warship Sinking Case

Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency Wednesday released a report exposing the truth about the Cheonan warship sinking case engineered by the U.S. and the gravity of the ever more undisguised provocations against the DPRK with the case as a momentum.
The report said that the case was a hideous farce orchestrated by the U.S. to save a sunken U.S. submarine from the West Sea of Korea by the order of the White House.
    It noted:
Cheonan, a warship of the south Korean puppet navy, sank after being broken into two parts in the hotspot waters of the West Sea of Korea at night on March 26, 2010. The cause of the incident remained unknown at that time.
In those waters the puppet forces were always on high alert, operating double and treble detecting and monitoring systems. On the day when the incident occurred, anti-warship and anti-submarine operations, anti-aircraft firing, naval interceptor operations were staged as part of the Foal Eagle joint military exercises, and warship groups and underwater and air reconnaissance means were busy maneuvering.
Under such situation it was the top priority task for the U.S. to save the sunken U.S. submarine from the waters.
The Cheonan warship sinking case was orchestrated by the U.S. to carry out this operation.
South Korean KBS on April 7 said that the U.S. and south Korea were strictly concealing the fact about the U.S. submarine sunken in a place very close to the place where the Cheonan warship sank, adding it was because they were afraid of the disclosure of the fact that U.S. submarines had long been operating around Paekryong Island to "make a surprise attack on the north" in case of contingency and they were concerned for the eruption of the anti-U.S. sentiment in south Korea.
A U.S. reporter in a special talk to a U.S. broadcasting service said that the Cheonan warship sinking case could be interpreted as the farce staged by the diving commando of the U.S. navy.
Even today public opinion is becoming assertive that Cheonan warship became a victim of the operation for saving the sunken U.S. submarine.
In a nutshell, it is the assertion of world public and scientists that Cheonan warship was broken into two parts not by any torpedo attack or explosion but by an intentional clash of the U.S. submarine.
The report exposed the fact that the U.S. worked hard to cover up its despicable crime by deeply interfering in the investigation into the case.
    It said:
When the puppet group visited Washington in secrecy right after the incident, the U.S. hinted the group that it did not hope for "lifting sanctions against the DPRK" and if the investigation into the case was delayed, it might be unfavorable.
Frequent meetings for measures took place at the U.S. Departments of Defense and State and CIA at which they had confabs for countermeasures in camera.
U.S. President Obama in a telephone message with the traitor Lee Myung Bak on April 1 said the U.S. would positively "cooperate" with south Korea in the investigation into the case.
From the outset of the investigation the U.S. branded the DPRK as "suspect" and led the investigation into the case in line with its assertion, claiming that there are no other suspects except for north Korea and Cheonan warship was sunken by a torpedo of north Korea.
The story about "torpedo attack by the north" touted by the U.S. was a heinous crime it committed against the DPRK.
The U.S. is the very one and arch criminal who has brought dark clouds of a new war and a nuclear war to hang over the Korean peninsula, the report said, and continued:
The Cheonan warship sinking case was the September 11 incident of Asian version and chicanery orchestrated by the U.S. to turn in its favor the political and military situation in the Asia-Pacific region, the strategic center in the 21st century.
The U.S. fabricated the hideous case, the height of shamelessness, and is getting frantic with its moves to provoke a war of aggression against the DPRK. This is an unpardonable monstrous crime.
There is no statute of limitation applicable to the crimes committed by the U.S. to meet its political and military interests.
The U.S. will have to pay for its hideous crimes. -0-
