The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association today issued a joint statement in support of the appeal of the central committee of Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea to the people of south Korea on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the March 1st Uprising;
As the appeal of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea states the March 1st Uprising demonstrated the will ,stamina and independent spirit of the Korean people. It showed the determination of the Korean people to win back independence and sovereignty of the country . However after the Korean people won independence the US imperialists occupied south Korea , malignantly divided the Korean nation into two and committed all sorts of crimes.
The DFRK correctly states that "The U.S. is neither "liberator" and "helper" nor "guardian". Indeed the US is an aggressor, an exploiter and oppressor . They are the real enemy of the south Korean people. The south Korean people are exploited and oppressed by the US imperialists. They are being bled white by the US imperialists. Moreover the US imperialists are not only trampling down
independence but are threatening peace by staging provocative war exercises against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea .
The hour has come for the south Korean people to smash the chains of US imperialism and rise up for independence. We support the Appeal of the DFRK for the south Korean people to join the sacred war against the US imperialists and turn out decisively in the struggle for reunification !
