The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea Study Group and Staffordshire KFA note with great satisfaction the announcement made by the 3rd Plenum of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in making a historic turning in the cause of building a thriving socialist nation on the land of the DPRK. The goal of the March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the CC WPK has been fulfilled, that the tasks of the simultaneous construction of the economy and the perfection of the nuclear deterrent have been carried out.
Recognizing the changed circumstances, the WPK has led by Marshal KIM JONG UN has put the Korean Revolution on a strategic path. Now the aims of developing the DPRK's nuclear and missile forces have been completed well before schedule, the national resources of the DPRK can now be concentrated on the growth of the national economy and on information technology. The development of the economy will provide everyone in the DPRK with all the material benefits of socialism as desired by Marshal KIM JONG UN.
The 3rd Plenum of the CC of the WPK produced an epochal opportunity for world peace. Announcing the cessation of all nuclear and missile tests and the freezing of the ICBM programme, the WPK has made an outstanding contribution to the peace and security of Korea, North-East Asia and the World. Due to the sincere measures which were taken by the party and government of the DPRK, the prospects for Korean reunification have become a realistic possibility. The Songun Revolutionary Leadership of Marshal KIM JONG UN has ensured that Socialist Korea is treated as a dignified dialogue partner on the international arena, which has the means of a powerful self-defensive system. World public opinion rightfully regards the DPRK Supreme Leader Chairman KIM JONG UN as having done the utmost for global peace and independence!
We call upon all progressive forces in Britain and elsewhere to show their solidarity with the just and noble cause of the Korean People!
