Building on the great success of the 5th International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu which was held in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in August 2017 , has been decided to establish the International Organising Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu.
An inaugural ceremony was successfully held in Minsk on the 11th of April 2018 in the city of Minsk , the capital of anti-imperialist , independent Belarus. The meeting was atteneded by delegates from many countries and the new Organising Committee, a permanent standing body was elected.
Our UK KFA supports this initiative. Celebrating the lives of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu is a vital task for the world progressives and the formation of this Organising Committee will make a meaningful contribution to expanding and strengthening solidarity with People's Korea as well as the vital work of publicising the great achievements and immortal exploits of the great leader's comrades KIM IL SUNG , KIM JONG IL and dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN.
We believe that it is a vital and nessecary task for the world progressive people to give wide publicity to greatness of the of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu. UK KFA will do all in its power to make sure that this new Organising Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu will be succcessful in its work and we will work towards the success of the 6th International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu to be held in 2022.
