The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) , the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of a spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK ) ;
The US imperialists are creating a lot of tensions on the Korean peninsula and are threatening the independence and security of the DPRK . Recently the US has deployed nuclear strategic submarines on the Korean peninsula . In the statement issued on the 10th of July the spokesman for the DPRK Ministry of National Defence states that This is a very dangerous situation as it will bring the regional military tension to a more critical state and may incite the worst crisis of nuclear conflict in practice"
It is very clear the US imperialists are going mad to military stifle People's Korea and destroy the socialist system of the DPRK by force and bringing the danger of nuclear conflict nearer . The DPRK will take counter-actions and the US will be sorry .
Moreover the US has increased its spying on the DPRK .RC-135, U-2S and RQ-4B, strategic reconnaissance planes and reconnaissance drone belonging to the U.S. Air Force, flew over the East and West seas of Korea in turn for eight straight days from July 2 to 9. This is an appalling violation of the DPRK's territorial airspace. The DPRK has so far exercised self-control and restraint . However everything has its limit . The US need to remember when a fighter aircraft of the Air Force of the Korean People's Army shot down tbe EC121 spy plane in April 1969 with the loss of all on board and also the shoot down of a helicopter in 1994 . Do the foolish Americans want to repeat these incidents.
The US must stop its provocations against People's Korea . We support the warnings of the DPRK Ministry of National Defence !
