Eight years from now, on July 3, 2013, Ho Chi Minh Class came into being in DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Kyongsang Kindergarten on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the visit to the DPRK by Comrade President Ho Chi Minh, the respected leader of the Vietnamese people (from July 8 to 12, 1957).

Ho Chi Minh Class of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Kyongsang Kindergarten, together with Kim Il Sung Class (named on December 2, 2010) and Kim Jong Il Class (named on December 4, 2014) of the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten, serves as the beautiful symbol of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries with a 70 –odd-year long history.

DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Kyongsang Kindergarten held a joint performance of 100 children together with Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam in February, 2012 to mark the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung and 70th birth anniversary of General Kim Jong Il.  They held yet another joint performance in March, 2019 in honour of the success of the official goodwill visit of historic importance to Vietnam by Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). These two performances stand out as special chapters in the annals of development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, though he was busy with his guidance over the overall work of the Party and state, visited in person the Kyongsang Kindergarten both on May 30 and July 14, 2012. He gave his blessings to the children in the kindergarten for their happy future. He also provided them with the best conditions for education so that they would give full play to their hopes and talents.

It is not the children of Kyongsang Kindergarten alone but children and schoolchildren all over the country numbering thousands or even tens of thousands who now receive new school uniforms, Mindulle notebooks, Sonamu schoolbags and Haebaragi stationary on annual basis from the state. They are growing up fast with nothing to envy in the world. All these are attributable to the noble love of the Workers’ Party of Korea for posterity.

At the historic 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK, the General Secretary of the WPK saw to it that a Party resolution on improving and bolstering the Party’s childcare policy was adopted, saying that no revolutionary work is more important than the bringing up of children, the future of the country, to be strong and sound. As we hold him in high esteem, the song We Are the Happiest in the World will resound forever on this land.

Looking at the blooming buds in the flower garden of friendship, the two peoples of the DPRK and Vietnam are convinced of the ever bright and promising future of the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Vietnam that have been promoted into the special comradely and strategic ones, rooted in the deep personal relations of the preceding leaders of the two countries.
