The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement denouncing the moves of the US extreme reactionary conservative elements to 're list ' the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea as a "terrorism sponsor ":

Recently the   the chairman of the subcommittee on anti-terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation and trade of the U.S. House International Relations Committee cried out for re-listing the DPRK as a "sponsor of terrorism," taking issue with its nuclear deterrent for self-defence. The extreme reactionary imperialist news media Fox News also carried a so-called "opinion article "North Korea is a greater threat to our national security today than it was in 1988" slandering  the peace loving policy of the DPRK and its socialist system .

The US neo-cons and reactionaries are somehow trying to link the DPRK self defensive nuclear deterrent with "terrorism " even though there is absolutely no logic to this . The DPRK has the inviolable, independent and sovereign right to possess a nuclear deterrent , this is in no way linked to terrorism. It is also hypocritical of the US neo-con reactionaries to clamour in a most unseemly and noisy manner about 'sponsorship of terrorism' when the bigggest sponsor of terrorism in the world and no 1 terrrorist state is the US . The US
has carried out coups and assasinations in countless countries and spawned terrorist outfits . The DPRK has always been opposed to terrorism.

If the US imperialist re list the DPRK as a so-called "terrorism sponsor "  it will be a meaningless gesture as the DPRK can withstand any sanctions that the US impose . Moreover the DPRK will develop its self-reliant nuclear deterrent at a previously unknown speed.
