Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il was the supreme incarnation of human love, possessed of the noblest virtues as his inborn disposition.
His vast and boundless humanity disregarded the difference in ideology, system, race, nation, political view and religious belief, as evidenced by many touching stories.
One of them is a story about his great favor bestowed on Raul Garcia Alvarez, a linguist of Cuba, and his wife in the 1980s when they stayed in the DPRK.
Alvarez's wife had no child for ten years after marriage, but she became pregnant toward the end of stay.
Being told about the fact, the Chairman saw to it that she got delivery assistance at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and the same treatment was still offered to Alvarez and his wife, though the term of their stay expired.
When their son was born, Alvarez and his wife wrote a letter of thanks to the Chairman, asking him to give Korean-style name to the son. The Chairman named the son "Saebyol" and offered him various presents.
In Juche 74 (1985) when the wife of Mustafa Al Safarini, a diplomatic envoy of Palestine staying in Pyongyang, gave birth to her pretty daughter at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the Chairman also named the daughter "Jindallae" and sent valuable gifts to her, with great pleasure over her birth. And he offered Jindallae presents of love on her every birthday.
When he came to know, in Jindallae's letter to him, that her girl friend was suffering from alopecia, the Chairman took measures to bring her to the DPRK for curing her disease. In February 1994, her parents had a reunion with their beautiful daughter recovered from alopecia and wrote a letter of thanks to the Chairman.
As seen above, Chairman Kim Jong Il was a great sage taking care of the world with ardent human love. -0-
