Precarious War Game   The south Korean and US authorities are going to launch their joint military exercise in August, swimming against intention of south Korean people desirous of peace.   The exercise is aimed at a preemptive attack on the DPRK, that is, the removal of headquarters.     The joint military rehearsal would exacerbate the situation of the Korean Peninsula, the Promotion Committee for Meeting National Independence composed of 180 civic organizations of different strata warned. It would carry on emergency action for suspension of the joint military game, it noted.    The south Korean people from all social standings stressed that the military exercise would cause a military conflict as well as infection of COVID-19. The war game should be discontinued at once for the sake of peace and safety of the people, they added.
