Model of National Liberation Struggle in Colonies

Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- The anti-Japanese war led by President Kim Il Sung gave birth to the national liberation struggle in colonies going under the banner of independence.

The President clarified the truth that the revolution for national liberation in colonies should be an independent revolution not subordinated to the revolution in suzerain states. And he launched the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle with an independent stand that the driving force of the revolution in each country is its people.

He founded the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces and led the anti-Japanese war to victory, basing himself on the revolutionary stand that the people in colonial countries should organize stationary armed forces and wage an organized armed struggle in reliance on them to achieve the national liberation.

The victory in the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle clearly proved that each nation can defeat any imperialist formidable enemy when its people are united as one and they settle all problems by their own efforts and that counter-revolutionary violence should be answered with revolutionary violence in the struggle for national liberation in colonies and an organized armed struggle is the only way for smashing the aggressors and achieving the complete national liberation.

Encouraged by the Korean people's victory in the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the oppressed peoples throughout the world rose up in the armed struggle against the imperialists' domination and subordination.

On the international significance of the Korean people's anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, a foreign personage said that it showed a new road of revolution to be followed by the world oppressed people, played a big role in making a breach to pull down the imperialist colonial system and helped the working class and peoples the world over victoriously wage their revolutionary struggle with correct guidelines. -0-
