 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu today issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of  Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee(KAPPC)of the DPRK which was issued on the 21st of April:
  The bellicose fascist Trump administration has declared that its policy towards the DPRK will be one of  "supreme pressure and intervention". Moreover the US has made sabre rattling statements about the recent missile strike on Syria being a warning to the DPRK etc. The US is moving
nuclear strategic means to the Korean peninsula.
  The statement of the KAPPC rightly points out that the DPRK is a peace loving socialist state . Indeed the DPRK as a socialist country has no internal source of war such as munitions companies that can profit from war so it has no interest in starting a war nor in overseas military expansionism .However the US is different because the capitalist munitions monopolies profit from heavy arms expenditure and war. Although the DPRK values peace it cannot simply stand idle with folded arms whilst it is being threatened by the US imperialists,the sworn enemy of the Korean people.  Thus the KAPPC declares that "The army and people of the DPRK will not rule out any special option in order to defend peace on the Korean peninsula and the region.
    The U.S. has to understand that it is not only the U.S. that is invested with option, and it should be serious in making the final option at a crucial moment decisive of the destiny of the American empire"
 This is a most just and correct statement. If the USA values its peace, security and its very existence
it should stop threatening the DPRK !
