The International Central Central Committee for Songun Study (ICCSS) organised an online seminar to mark the 110th anniversary of the birth of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG , the Day of the Sun on the 14th of April 2022 at 1100 hours BST and 1600 hours Bangladesh time.
Participating were Songun idea followers from Bangladesh , Nepal and the UK .
The meeting began with the ‘Song of General KIM IL SUNG ‘.
Dr Dermot Hudson introduced the meeting saying that the 110th anniversary of the birth of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG is a very important event celebrated as the Day of the Sun by the Korean people and world progressive people.
Dr M Jahanghir Khan head of the ICCSS and head of the Bangladesh Songun Politics Study Group made a speech titled “ The Justice and reality of the Juche Idea as Immortal banner of human independence cause and Importance of Global Songun Study to enhance Global Independence’ this said in part “Independence is the basically demand for independence and it is the demand of a social being to live and develop as master of the world and one’s own destiny free from all fetters and subordinations.Since man lives and conducts activities in the world, independence is expressed in detail in the fact that man demands independence to live as master of nature, society and oneself and wages struggle for its realization”
Dr Khan also stressed the lofty internationalist role of President
KIM IL SUNG who devoted himself to the cause of global independence .
Dr Khan read out a poem which concluded
“Long live immortal Juche Idea,
Long live immortal Songun Idea,
Be happy birthday dearest,
Be shinning, our nearest,
His Excellency Kim IL Sung we are singing a song.
Never forget you,
Lovely a great due,
We all are in you,
It's the world view.”
PR Pant , vice president of ICCSS and general secretary general of Nepalese Association of journalists for supporting the Songun politics ,referred to the great achievements made by President KIM IL SUNG in leading the revolution and building socialism .
Dr Dermot Hudson hon secretary general of the ICCSS and head of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea addressed the meeting saying ‘
Whilst leading the work of building socialism in the DPRK President KIM IL SUNG paid great attention to the world revolution . The international communist movement and socialist camp experienced severe trials and difficulties owing to the emergence of modern revisionism from the late 1950s onward, comrade KIM IL SUNG opposed both modern revisionism and Left opportunism and argued for unity …
..The whole life of President KIM IL SUNG is associated with anti-imperialism and fighting for global independence .
A message to dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
The film “Father of the People’ was shown .
Meeting concluded at 1210 hours BST.
