The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) and Korean Friendship Association UK(KFA UK ), held an online meeting at 1545 hours on the 9th of April. Participating were members of the BGSJI and KFA UK from different parts of the country and international guests from Greece , Bulgaria , Serbia ,Turkey USA and other countries .
The ‘ Song of General KIM IL SUNG ‘ was played at the start of the meeting .
Dr Hudson, chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche and KFA UK introduced the meeting . A message from comrade Alan Bolon head of KFA UK West of England branch and KFA UK Organisation Secretary which was titled ‘ 'Great Father of the Korean People and founder of revolutionary Juche Idea' and read in part ‘Dear Comrades, today, in this not easy time, when imperialist world reactionary forces organised by capitalist countries, trying to falsify the truth of the memory of the President Kim IL Sung. These are our duties and our urgent task, to all united in the Korean Friendship Association, to defend the truth, strong and firmly keep the banner of Juche, the banner of Kimilsungism - Kimjongilism. A big respect and tribute. Long live Eternal President Kim IL Sung’.
A representative of KFA Greece brought greetings to the meeting and praised the work of President KIM IL SUNG and stressed that People’s Korea defends independence and maintains a strong anti-imperialist stance .
Dr Dermot Hudson in his presentation said in part “Today we are here to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG , the father of modern Korea , indeed the creator or inspirer of the miracle that is Juche Korea , a country that abolished taxation back in 1974 and yet has free healthcare , free education and virtually free housing . Juche Korea is also a state that closed its borders for more than 2 years and yet survives when others wouldn’t last beyond a few days’
The film ‘ Great Father of the People’ was shown .
Extracts of the account, by the secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and head of Staffordshire KFA of his visit to the DPRK for the World Juche Congress were read out . In part these said “Without any exaggeration I would say that the highpoint of my 2012 trip was being present at the military parade on Kim II Sung square. I have in the past watched DPRK military parades on DVD and on you tube, but nothing could have prepared me for this spectacular event. I was lucky to have a grandstand view of the march past by the Korean People's Army and the Worker-Peasant Red Guards, along with the other invited guests.
At 10.00am the parade started with the flags of the Immortal President and of the Eternal General Secretary being carried aloft on two limousines. Marching past the tribune in absolute order were columns representing the fighters from the periods of the Anti-Japanese armed struggle and of the Fatherland Liberation War ( the Korean war 1950-53). I was informed that there were columns from the Kim II Sung Military University, the Kim II Sung Political University, the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Tank Division and other Korean Peoples Army divisions and institutes.”

Dr Hudson also spoke about the 10th anniversary of the supreme leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN and the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Army.
