Report of Online Meeting on the 38th anniversary of the publication of On the Juche Idea

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the UK Korean Friendship Association held an online meeting ,on the 29th of March at 1500 hours to mark the 38th anniversary of the publication of the classic work "ON THE JUCHE IDEA " by the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL
 It was participated in by people from Britain, Ireland , Brazil and Greece .
Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of UK KFA introduced the meeting saying the publication of 'ON THE JUCHE IDEA " by the great leader comrade
KIM JONG IL some 38 years ago was a great event and that the work should be read again and again.
 Comrade Lucas Rubio head of the Brazilian Centre for the Study of Songun Politics  said "
At the present time the Western world is experiencing the greatest of its challenges in recent centuries. The Coronavirus pandemic has proven that countries that are governed by the market, money and the bourgeoisie are not prepared to save people's lives and promote happiness among the people. In the USA, Italy, Spain, Brazil and the United Kingdom, people are dying without access to basic public health. At the same time, in China and in Socialist Korea, it was precisely the power of a government that is made by the people that guaranteed the end of the pandemic or even the occurrence of no case, as happened in Korea. Western governments and the free market kill innocent people and destroy the people's dream, delivering either the economic crisis or the health crisis as the best gift to the people.



38 years after the synthesis of the Juche Idea published by General KIM JONG IL, we are more confident than ever that only socialism is the necessary path for human progress and for the well-being of all peoples, free from eternal exploitation and class oppression."

The head of the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland said that  "
The Juche idea from it's creation and it's hard work carried out by Eternal President Kim Il Sung, Leader Kim Jong Il and Respected Leader
Kim Jong Un and the people of Korea shows that the Juche Idea brings people together, they are the masters of their own destiny, and thanks to the Juche Idea we are
seeing DPR Korea with no cases of COVID 19 whilst the capitalist metropolis's are struggling to contain this with rising deaths sadly.The Juche Idea is not just a part time thing, it is a way of life and a way of life which the western world should adhere to for mankind to come together as one and advance the world peacefully."
Shaun Pickford secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of Staffordshire KFA said that the publication of " ON THE JUCHE IDEA  " was a great event with and that the work was studied throughout the world . He said that work systematised  and developed the Juche idea in depth . Comrade Pickford referred to definition of politics by the classic Greek philosopher Aristotle and said how comrade KIM JONG IL had developed this definition in the work "ON THE JUCHE IDEA ' . Comrade Shaun said it was very important to study "ON THE JUCHE IDEA ' as it provided answers to the questions of the times . Really it is a very profound work that is packed full of valuable material and it would take a long time to fully study and understand it all.
  Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that "ON THE JUCHE IDEA '  which the summation  of many years of research and study by the great leader comrade
KIM JONG IL .  Moreover he pointed out that " ON THE JUCHE IDEA ' is basically about the human factor  as opposed to the material/economic factor . You could say it is about the subjective factor . In fact "ON THE JUCHE IDEA '  teaches us that the popular masses such as workers and peasants  are the subject of history rather than the object  ...  A deep study of the Juche idea can enable us to reject sycophancy towards big powers , as well as dogmatism and revisionism "

Speakers in the meeting praised the fact that the DPRK has no Covid 19 and this is confirmed by the World Health Organisation .
 The capitalist media was also heavily criticised for constantly  creating false propaganda about the DPRK , demonizing the country and slandering the Juche idea  and trying to create barriers in studying the Juche Idea . The attitude of some revisionists and opportunists who believe the propaganda of the bourgeois media .
 Comrade Lucas Rubio said that the WPK has taken significant and decisive steps to sweep away bureaucracy and corruption . Dr Dermot Hudson said this is the people -orientated policy of  respected Marshal KIM JONG UN and a manifestation of the Juche Idea . Comrade Shaun Pickford said that Korean style socialism based on the Juche idea is the most superior and advanced socialism especially when compared to the 'market socialism ' of a certain country.

Participants in the meeting said it was a great meeting .

A message to dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted and also a short resolution.
