No starvation in People's Korea instead a new weight loss app
Recently , the DPRK Today website reported that the Pyongyang Keimyung Technological Development Institute of the DPRK had developed a new weight loss app . This is "Also known as the Women's Health Care Department, this application consists of obesity calculation, daily calorie calculation, my treatment log, 30-day exercise, and hospital reservation.
In the obesity calculation section, when the user enters his or her weight and height, the obesity index is calculated accordingly. The measured values are recorded daily and weekly and displayed in graphs or charts. Obesity index is not only an indicator necessary for maintaining a beautiful body. It has been confirmed by several studies that abnormal obesity index (below 18.5 or above 25) is related to disease and lifespan. Therefore, knowing one's obesity index and trying to restore and maintain normal levels is an essential requirement for self-care"
This proves that the stories about 'starvation' and 'famine' in the DPRK are not true , they are just lies.
In fact several of my female guides told me they had gone on diets.
